Birdwatching Visual Effects

With this mod, when a Sim performs the birdwatching interaction (introduced in FreeTime), birds appear above the lot:
  • pigeons and crows,
  • wild geese in a V formation,
  • seagulls – only on beach lots, provided you have Nightlife installed.
They disappear when there are no birdwatching Sims on the lot.
This mod also prevents Sims who are birdwatching at the same time from dropping the interaction once one of those Sims stops birdwatching.

If you have one of the following pre-release mods, delete it before you install this mod:
  • CandK_BirdwatchEffect
  • simNopke-birdwatchingBirdEffects


Known issues
  • Birds flap their wings while the game is paused,
  • Lighting does not affect birds (just like in case of any other effects) – it's especially noticeable at night,
  • Birds sometimes descend so low that they clip buildings, objects, or even the ground.
