Update 11/05/2024
Cleaned up some chance cards which were wrong. Apparently I had edited text of the male version chance cards and forgot to update the female ones. I also fixed some other minor mistakes.
This update fixes some previous small oversights that happened while I was making this. They're small and most have to do with the chance cards as said above what happened, so if this doesn't bother you, there is no need. I am saying this because you will need to have Sims quit their job before reinstalling the career because if you delete careers that Sims are in, some issues will show up. If you have a lot of Sims with this career and these small text mistakes aren't that bad for you, then you can also not download this.

Finally done! This is my first career I've made. After lots of chance card brainstorming, I bring to you this lovely career. Photography might already be done, but animal photography is kind of different. It has a custom icon in Maxis Blue made with images from FreePik.
It's only for Adults and only in English as for now. It has different vehicles depending on your Sim's job level and different kinds of uniforms. I hope your Sims enjoy photographing different kinds of wildlife!
Level 1: Freelancer Photographer: You’re not capturing the beauty of a cheetah running, but you’re not that bad either. Keep taking clear shots in the streets of SimCity of random insects or some pets, and maybe you’ll turn this interest into more than just a hobby. Right now though, keep selling your shots for minimal Simoleons.
Level 2: Photographer Student: You’re now officially taking classes that include taking pictures of your mentor’s pet, Kiki the Chihuahua, and simultaneously get commissions to photograph people’s pets right there on the spot. Maybe if you keep practicing, you wouldn’t have to endure hours of Kiki’s excited and happy barking.
Level 3: Pet Photographer: You’re not exactly an animal photographer. Other people request professional photographs of their beloved pets , and you do it for some Simoleons. Try to bump up your Creativity, or else you’ll be known as “The Family Pet Photographer” for your whole life!
Level 4: Portfolio Creator: Few people had been giving you commissions for their pet photos, so you’ve decided to make a portfolio. As you’ve been building your portfolio, more and more people have been begging you for funny pictures of their cats! You’re not quite done with the portfolio though. Keep adding new photos, and you’ll be booming with success soon!
Level 5: Pet Photo Expert: You’ve gotten a fancy new professional camera, and have been continuing with the pet commissions. You’ve also learned how to edit and bring out the colour of your photo, sharpen it, and other cool tricks with your editing software. Your inbox has been combusting with requests and you’ve been trying to catch up!
Level 6: Commercial Photographer: You hadn’t expected this, but some agency contacted you to photograph a kitty named “Miss Whiskers” for the commercial of a cat food brand named “Purrfect Gourmet”! This created more opportunities for your career and more brands are reaching out to you in order for you to photograph more cats, dogs, hamsters, birds, and even cattle.
Level 7: Aquatic Animal Photographer: Hard work has led you to taking incredible shots of dolphins, sea turtles, octopuses, crabs, guppies, and other amazing animals that live underwater. You’ve upgraded your camera so it can, pretty much, survive in water, and you’ve started selling your impressive images for good money. Keep up the good work!
Level 8: Aerial Animal Photographer: You’ve moved up, literally. From underwater to the air, the sky’s the limit. Literally. Take pictures of spectacular birds, arthropods, parrots, crows, and other aerial animals. You’ve went from pigeons to eagles fast. Good job, literally!
Level 9: Forest Photographer: You’ve done sky, water, but not earth… Kinda. Aside from pets, you haven’t really done any wildlife. You’ve decided to walk to the forest and try to spot some kind of cute small animal, like a rabbit or a porcupine to photograph it. Unbelievably, people really seem to like these pictures. Soon enough, you will be flying to other parts of Simworld to photograph other breath-taking animals. Until then, keep up the good work!
Level 10: Animal Wildlife Photographer: You’ve made it. It was your dream, and now you’ve made it.You can now capture the beauty of cheetahs running, finally. The wildlife is beautiful, and making a living over capturing its beauty is awesome. Each day, a helicopter takes you to another part of Simworld to photograph. People are still asking for pet commissions, but you do that only in your free time, as a hobby.

Note: Chance cards do have both pronouns, male and female ingame. They're also shown here.
Level 1:
It’s another day in $me’s job and he’s been trying to find an interesting animal to photograph in the local park. So far he has only been finding ants, who are presumably coming from a picnic basket of a family. An ant carrying a piece of food larger than itself showing an ant’s daily life in general might not be interesting to other people, but there isn’t anything else worthy to photograph in the park today. The family hasn’t yet noticed the ants taking their food, and $me could notify the family. On the other hand, the ants could be a cool screensaver for $me’s phone…

Photograph Ants
Notify Family
Option A good:
$me takes the ants’ photo and leaves. It’s not $me’s problem if the family hadn’t seen them in the first place! $me sets it as the phone’s screensaver. As $me is setting it up, a man who introduces himself as Mr. Arthurpodson says he wants to buy the image for 500 simoleons. $me is thrilled!

Option A bad:
$me takes the ants’ photo and leaves. Who cares? It’s just some pancake pieces that the ants took. $me sits at a bench and then sets up the screensaver. After a while, $me notices the family’s dad set up a tripod and take the family’s portrait. Turns out, he’s a professional photographer and with some simple help, $me could’ve networked in order to meet him! $me loses a Logic skill point.

Option B good:
$me wants to continue his day, but also wants to save the picnic. He tells the family’s dad that some ants have infiltrated the picnic. The dad thanks $me. After a while, $me, hanging around in the park, the dad comes to $me again and informs him that he had seen $me taking shots of different animals, and recommends a Sim that is a mentor for photography. $me is promoted to Photography Student!

Option B bad:
$me informs the family that the ants have infiltrated their picnic. Turns out, they had put out the picnic specifically for the ants! It seems they love ants and keep some as pets. What weird people! $me loses a Charisma skill point.

Level 2:
Another lesson full of Kiki the Chihuahua’s known happy barking. $me is starting to have headaches from the noise and wants to inform the mentor that Kiki is making it hard for $me to concentrate. $me doesn’t say it however and $me has a choice.

Inform Mentor
Stay Quiet
Option A Good
$me can’t focus at all anymore and he informs the mentor that Kiki is making too much of a ruckus to concentrate on the photography lesson. The mentor apologizes for Kiki and gently says to Kiki to keep quiet. The lesson goes well and $me gains a Charisma skill point.

Option A bad:
$me decides enough is enough and $me says to the mentor that Kiki is making it hard for him to focus. However, the mentor was having a bad day and took $me’s word as offensive. The mentor ends today’s lesson and $me loses a Charisma skill point.

Option B good:
$me decides it’s all fine and that the headache will go away on its own. After a while, Kiki got distracted by her toys and went to play with her chicken plushie. Fortunately, the chicken plushie didn’t have any bell or sound-making item in it, so $me and Kiki spent their time peacefully, without headaches or boredom. $me concentrates better this day and $me took better pictures, thus gaining a bonus of 500 simoleons!

$me wouldn’t hear anything of it again and left. However the mother regretted it and tried to stop $me, saying that she had 500 simoleons in order to apologize. $me picked up the pace and left without saying a word. However, $me rethinks it and how 500 simoleons were lost. $me lost an opportunity for simoleons and also has to pay for a refund of 400 simoleons.

Option A bad:
$me freaks out and he calls an ambulance. However in his panic he forgot that he's infact, in a forest and has to treat the small wounds by himself. $me wastes precious time and gets demoted to Aerial Animal Photographer.

Option A good:
$me stayed still and curiously watched the monkey. When the monkey arrived to $me, the monkey gave $me the banana. The monkey grabbed $me’s camera and took a photo of itself. $me, confused, laughed, hugged the monkey, and left with a funny photo. $me saved a copy on their computer and sold the image. $me got tipped 800 simoleons!

Option A bad:
$me stayed still, petrified, while the monkey walked towards her. The monkey placed the banana on the ground for $me to take as a gift, and $me, smiling, got ready to take a photo of the monkey. However the monkey had already gone back to its family and was now climbing the tree. Without any photos and only a banana and a heartwarming memory, $me had to pay for a 600 refund of a commissioner.

$me ran away in fear of the monkey chasing them. $me was right and the monkey wanted to throw the banana at $me! $me escaped and left with a funny memory. $me had also escaped with a pretty cool picture of the monkey running with the banana and the buyer of the picture tipped her 950 simoleons!
