School Additions (Call In Sick, Manually Attend After School Clubs)

I saw supermeatboy mention the idea of calling in sick to school on the 'Mods I wish existed' thread and thought I'd definitely like that in my own game. So I decided to make it!

Plus, I'd always wanted a way to send my sims to their after school activities while using the updated Ultimate Careers mod, so I added that too!

Requirements:

• This is BG compatible. If you don't have Generations installed, you won't see the after school club portion of the mod.

Recommended (see recommendation section for links):

Cross-Compatibility (skip if you don't have the Ultimate Careers mod installed):

• Calling in sick works for sims attending school using UC. However, to accommodate for that mod, the sim must phone in sick before 7am. This is regardless of if you're actually using the mod to send your sims to school or not. As long as you have the mod installed, it counts.
• I'm using the updated UC mod, so if you are using Zerbu's original version, the 7am deadline still applies however you won't have all the greyed out in-game tooltips to remind you of the cut off time so you'll have to remember yourself!

• Accidentally reversed the cut off times... now with UC the cut off is actually 7am, and without the UC mod, the cut off is 9am—as it should have been in the first place.
• Fixed spelling error in ENG translation.

Calling In Sick

Phone Interactions
Please see the tuning xml for tuneable values. By default: children must ask an older sim to call for them.
Interactions are found on phones under the 'School' path.

Call In Sick

If the child/teen is allowed to call for themselves, they can call in sick if they have any of the sick or fake sick buffs and if it is the right time/day.

Call In Sick For...

If the household has any children/teens that have any of the sick buffs, an older sim can call in sick on their behalf.

Sim Interactions
Found under Friendly/Ask for School Sick Day

Children/teens can try to convince their older household members that they need to stay home from school due to sickness. Success depends on the traits and buffs of both sims. Again, see xml for tuneable values.

Extra

• Being off school sick fulfils the dream (not the wish!) of skipping school if Generations is installed.
• The normal cut off time for calling in sick is 9am unless UC is installed.

After School Activities

Since you can't attend after school clubs unless you've been at school that day, I needed a way to manually send my sims to attend them. (Handy if they've been off sick or if you are using the UC mod for school).

Click On the School Rabbithole within the club hours and send your sim to attend!
