this thread will be used to upload some tiny niche mods which don't fit as Extras on my other uploads

Bon Voyage NPCs Skin "Fix"
workaround for a glitch that makes certain tan skin (S2) Bon Voyage NPCs show the lightest skintone (S1) in their bodies, more noticeable if you use skintone replacement
affected NPCs are:

• Fire Dancer (will still show black hair regardless of their DNA)
• Ninja
• Unsavoury Charlatan
• Pirate Captain (you might have not noticed this one apart from his thumbnail since he looks like a ghost, I also restored his natural Brown hair)

there might be an issue with their NPC outfit object's 3DIR data
I still have a lot to learn about 3DIR so I can't fix this fully yet, but at least they will look more natural now that their bodies match S2
if you know about 3DIR please let me know so we can share and try to fix this for good

"Mystery" to Unknown
swaps "Mystery Sim" name to "Unknown Sim"
can be used with Nopke's Mystery Sim Remake
spanish equivalent included

Bigfoot Hair Hider
for some reason, the 'random' button in BodyShop (and sometimes the game itself) is obsessed with giving sims the Bigfoot hair-beard combo, hence, I was using palominocorn's mod to stop this
but it takes it away when taking real Bigfoot to Change Appearance (I need to do this to fix Bigfoot spawned with human beards since I'm using beard townifiers)
this mods stop Bigfoot hair from being giving to human sims at random, but lets Bigfoot preserve it when took to Change Appearance dialog


"Change Appearance" Hider
I love having to buy clothes to wear them
Open for Business came with the Makeover Station, but it's not that immersive for playable sims since they can simply use the mirror
this mod hides the interaction on regular mirrors (vanity desks are excluded) from child to elder so you have another reason to go outside and touch some grass (toddlers and pets can still change appearance since makeover station does not include them)
there are two versions of this mod: the "availability" version makes the game never consider a Sim eligible for the interaction to show up, and the "category" version moves it to Debug menu so it's still there when you need it for testing or storytelling purposes
I recommend you getting the "availability" version only if you got conflicts with "category" one and don't want to deal with them


by the way, are makeovers supposed to be free for playables?

Recategorized NPC stuff
meant to be used with Phaenoh's Great Clothing Migration V2 but can be used standalone

• moves adult version of white Santa's hair to Custom section (Santa NPC can still find it) and marks it as outwear too
• disables Santa and Mrs. Klaus outfits from being used by townies, and makes them available as outwear too
• hides Father Time outfit again and enables it for sleepwear too
• enables Toddler New Year's outfit for everyday again so he's not a floating head, but leaves it hidden (and enabled for underwear too) so your playable toddlers don't get the outfit randomly

hidden outfits enabled for other categories in case you give them to a playable Sim using debug CAS

Santa Portrait Fix
a replacement for Santa Klaus portrait so he looks more like himself and not like Therapist in disguise (he appears in memory panel of sims who interact with him and the interaction queue)


Unhidden FreeTime Matchmaker Outifit Clone
I love this dress, but seeing it on a potion seller NPC makes me feel like something's wrong
this unlocker is meant to be used with Matchmaker replacements like Midge's one which leave FreeTime duplicate intact as the game will use Nightlife's one if both expansions are installed
since not everyone uses a matchmaker replacement I included this mod here instead of my Unhidden Stuff
it also unlocks a hidden adult version of the hair that came in Nightlife


Deadlier Flies
death by flies is so rare that's not even an hazard
in an un-modded game, your sim has a 2% probability of dying by flies after 10 fly spots are present on the lot
not even a Sim with 0 neat points gets to this point easily
I set it to a 25% after 5 spots
NOTE: death by flies is still a rare event because of the way the game determines when a Sim can die this way

More PlantSims
despite the name, this mod can be used with Cyjon's Fewer Plantsim and Plantsim fix, that would give you a pretty interesting formula:

• it takes 10 sprays instead of 15 to have a 10% chance of being turned (from my mod)
• the game can now remember your spray count after leaving the lot or closing the game (from Cyjon's Plantsim Fix)
• the spray count is reduced everyday and after being turned (from Cyjon's Fewer Plantsims)

it turns into a balanced and more complex way than it used to be
