Bechet Manor

Introducing my first build, Bechet Manor! This 42,000 square foot, 14 bedroom, 20 bath estate is fully equipped for the wealthiest sim households. The mansion boasts classical exterior styling inspired by an older hallmark MTS creation ("The Millionaire's Palace" by Alexiasi)and a refreshing neoclassical interior spanning 10 stories. The main building rises the full height of the property with 2 large asymmetric wings. Two additional attached outbuildings form a covered circlet around the large outdoor swimming pool.

The house comfortably sleeps 30 sims and includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, multiple gyms, a massive chef's kitchen, numerous game/music/dance/disco/craft/and art rooms, several jet spas, massage facilities, 14 fireplaces, an underground 3 car garage, elevated conservatory gardens, formal and natural outdoor gardens, numerous fountains, countless art - some housed across 2 formal museum style galleries, a complete pool house with changing and shower facilities, 2 full secondary kitchens, a backyard creek with nearby play structure, fruit trees, thousands of square feet of balconies and terraces, and a private vault stocked with millions in gold bullion. Additional detailed description is below.

This home does require custom content (required a mod to even complete construction due to the number of walls) as detailed below. At minimum you must install Numenor's Scriptorium and No-Cut-Away wall mods to allow for the structure itself. It will also require a higher-spec machine to run. The as-is in-game cost will place this home out of reach for almost all sim families (without cheats) but can be lowered significantly (potentially to around $1,750,000) by deleting the gold bullion stores in the 8th floor vault. The lot is theoretically flat but caution should be exercised as landscaping near the creek may be slightly off level and impact directly adjacent lots.

Basement:
Below ground garage entrance is in the base of the west wing leading to long 3 car garage with staircase to upper floors. Moving east there is a small combination gallery with art and aquariums in addition to a small sitting space and full bath. The indoor swimming pool and spa are just beyond this with plenty of deck seating. Continuing east there is another full bath, an open concept gym, game and billiards room, and painting room. From the east end of the basement another staircase rises to the first floor.

First floor:
Entry past symmetric formal gardens onto a large front terrace. Inside the front doors there is a grand foyer/hall with a staircase to upper floors. Directly north (behind the staircase) is the chef's kitchen looking out over backyard terraces into the gardens and pool area beyond. West from the entrance there is a formal dining room, gallery style hall, and full bathroom. In the west wing proper there are two large sitting areas/living rooms and two museum style art galleries. Beyond these exit onto a covered terrace connecting the main house to the detached buildings (entertainment building and pool house) beyond. There find another gym, full bath, and full kitchen in addition to a piano terrace and jet spa. East from the entrance there are additional galleries and a formal study. In the east wing proper there are two additional large studies with audio equipment, a mini bar, and fireplaces.

Second floor:
From the grand staircase enter into a grand hall with balconies open to the grand hall below. Several balconies project north from this hall. A large south facing terrace lines the entire front of the house on this floor. West from the grand stairs there is a large formal study with a mini bar and grand piano. In the west wing proper there is a formal staircase hall dividing the wing with a large queen bedroom + bath south, and twin children's bedrooms with jack and jill bath north. A gallery hall connects, via a covered terrace, to the entertainment room and arcade beyond. Rounding further from this across another covered terrace leads to the mens and womens changing and shower facilities above the pool house. East from the grand stairs there is a formal billiard room with a small library. In the east wing proper there is another staircase hall with flanking queen suites.

Third floor:
Access to the third floor is from either wing via the staircase halls. The center of the main building is almost entirely dedicated to the spacious master suite with large full bath, twin walk-in closets, private terrace and jet spa, and sitting areas with fireplaces. The master suite is directly connected to a full children's nursery with kitchenette. Twin hallways lead from the master suite to each wing. The west wing includes a library, unfinished secret room, massage suites, and hobby space in addition to a covered terrace contiguous with the dance studio. The east wing includes another two large queen suites.

Fourth floor:
The fourth floor features a central kitchen and eating area with two adjacent queen bedrooms sharing a large full bath. Both east and west of this space are large indoor conservatory gardens which open to outdoor balcony gardens. The east wing boasts 3 additional bedrooms while the west wing features a sauna and spa area in addition to an indoor aquarium and outdoor barbacue patio.

Upper floors:
Rising from the fourth floor there is a large 4 lane bowling alley and billiard room. Above this is a 4 bed bunk room with half bath. Further up is the secure family vault with gold bullion stores. And finally, rising 2 stories via spiral staircases from the vault level is the pinnacle of the mansion - a small crow's nest balcony.
