"There's Nought so Queer as Folk" - old English proverb

Here are all 9 main characters from the North American version of "Queer As Folk".... plus Rage and Zephyr. They were recently repackaged (Sept 2008) with all EPs & SPs installed, so please install them with Clean Installer to avoid "missing EP" error messages. Please also note that these sims use Maxis skin. They won't look right if you have default-replacement skins installed. To avoid this problem, you can download non-default Maxis skins here and fix the sims in CAS. Ben uses "tan" skin, the rest use "light" skin. Extra special thanks to all the custom content creators mentioned below, and of course to the actors, writers, and entire crew that worked on QAF.

  • Brian Kinney (Gale Harold)
    • Brows by me (fanseelamb) included. You can download the rest of the set here.
    • Eyes by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Hair by me (fanseelamb) included. Requires OFB. You can download the rest of the set here. You'll need the black hair if you want it to work for elders, and you'll need this mesh if you want it to work for kids & toddlers. Black hair and kid/toddler mesh not included. Pick another hairstyle in CAS if you don't have OFB. I recommend my "Fuller Floppy Hair" which is basegame compatible.
    • Clothes by me (fanseelamb) included. They're from this tops set and this pants set.
    • Pants mesh by Adele (fixed by me) included. Poly Count: 936
    • Bracelet not included. That's a Bon Voyage accessory. Send Brian to the beach and have him comb for shells to find it!

  • Justin Taylor (Randy Harrison)
    • Eyes by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Hair by me (fanseelamb) included. Requires OFB. You can download the rest of the set here. You'll need the black hair if you want it to work for elders, and you'll need this mesh if you want it to work for kids & toddlers. Black hair and kid/toddler mesh not included. Pick another hairstyle in CAS if you don't have OFB.
    • No other custom content. Outfit requires Nightlife.

  • Ben Bruckner (Robert Gant)
    • Eyes by oepu included.
    • No other custom content. Outfit requires OFB. Pick another outfit in CAS if you don't have OFB.

  • Michael Novotny (Hal Sparks)
    • Eyes by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Outfit by me (fanseelamb) + 5 recolours included.
    • No other custom content. No EPs or SPs required.

  • Debbie Novotny (Sharon Gless)
    • Eyes by oepu included.
    • Lipstick by Helaene included.
    • Outfit by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • Hair by me (fanseelamb) included. Adult/YA Only. Requires OFB because it's linked to an OFB texture. Pick another hairstyle in CAS if you don't have OFB.
    • Hair mesh by me (fanseelamb) included. The mesh is an edit of dj's conversion of this Maxis hair. Poly Count: 1328

    • No other custom content. Hair requires University and outfit requires OFB. Change them in CAS if you don't have those EPs.

  • Ted Schmidt (Scott Lowell)
    • Eyes, sideburns, and nose "makeup" by me (fanseelamb) included.
    • My edited version of Onah's eye bags included. I just changed the alpha to make them very faint.
    • No other custom content. Hair requires Seasons and outfit requires Free Time. Change them in CAS if you don't have those EPs.

  • Rage (Blue Superhero) & Zephyr (Red Superhero)
    • Eyes, masks, and costumes for toddlers, kids, teens, young adults, & adults by me (fanseelamb) included.
