Silhouette Lawn Decorations

****UPDATE**** I messed up on my GUID's so the old version might conflict with other people's items . If you have already downloaded this and run into this problem please redownload as the current .rar is the fixed version. YOU MUST download the individual mesh files ,those are the only ones updated...You cannot download the all files which include everything, If you have not downloaded this yet and are about to please download the complete set install , then download the fixed mesh files and overwrite as neccessary ....

UPDATE #1 - The files for download with the long names are the MESH files by themselves ONLY download those if you have recolors someone else made !!!!!!!!! UV Maps are also available for individual download now....The packages with the short names ie: 1 tile , 1 tile large , 2 tile and 2 tile large contain EVERYTHING including the UV Maps and recolors

UPDATE #2 - It has been brought to my attention that no matter what shape you make these into they will cast rectangular shadows ..So if you have a problem with that you have two options - Turn off shadows in your game or Don't download them !!!!!


Here is my newest project .. It is a simple 4 poly double sided plane that is APLHA EDITABLE to make literally millions and millions of things with... They come in 4 different sizes to suit everyone's needs .. A 1 tile small version , 1 tile large version , 2 tile small version and a 2 tile large version ! You must have the mesh file in your downloads in order for the recolors to show !

This is one of my items where I really encourage others to make recolors for !!!! All you have to do is open whichever one you want in SimPE and select recolor like normal ..Then make an image on a transparent background and your basically done !.. These are double sided also meaning that the front and back can be completely different... You could have the front view of a person on the front , then make a rear view of someone and put it on the back part for the ultra realistic look !!!!!

Also there is a wooden stake for holding up these wonderful decorations , Which by the way is also recolorable ... The set comes with a dark gray color for the stake ....

The main meshes for the four sizes are just basic squares ...Which can be seen in the attached pictures... I have also included the UV Maps for all 4 meshes to make recoloring easier ...You will have to mirror image whatever you choose to make so there is a front and back ....I have also labeled the UV Maps with front and back so you know which is which , also the stake is placed at the "crosshairs" of the uvmap so if you want the stake to look in the right place there must be texture in the very center of the mesh for all sizes....I made the Buffalo Sabres logo with a gray back so if you go around to the backside of the lawn deco you will notice just a gray circle !!!

I have included 4 .rar files split into groups with recolors of each mesh inside ...They are broken down by size and here are whats in each package : In the 1 tile there is the base mesh plus a beaver , turkey , MTS2 logo and kids kissing ; In the 1 tile large there is the base mesh plus a shootin cowgirl , leaning cowboy , standing bear and a tribute to Tiggerypum ; In the 2 tile there is the base mesh plus a dog , goat and a tribute to Hysterical Paroxysm ; In the 2 tile large there is the base mesh plus a cowboy on a fence , Old Sabres logo , A Gift for Johnbrehaut1 and a tribute to the almighty Delphy !!!!!!!

Here are the screen shots of the tribute lawn decorations I made for people who without their help and everything else they do I would not be able to make anything and they deserve ALL the CREDIT in the world for their work at MTS2

All the cowboy and related lawn decorations are dedicated to Wes_H, Since he is a Big Texas Rancher now !!!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Make as many recolors of these decorations as possible I want to see what other fabulous creations people can come up with !!! You can include these in your house uploads with credit to me for the meshes and a link back to this thread ...If you do make recolors please DO NOT include the mesh but link back to this thread to get the mesh ..... The most important rule is 100% FREE SITES ONLY
