This is a 4x5 lot valued at $389,740 and comes fully furnished.
This specific package has not been played/tested but I am having a great time playing an identical lot.

I have created 106 new walls, 7 floors, 1 door mesh and 4 mosaic rug recolours for this lot.
Many thanks to all of the talented artists who's wonderful cc also helped to bring this place to life.



Pompeii was a thriving seaside city whose art and architecture was influenced by Rome, Egypt & Greece. In August 79 the volcano of Mount Vesuvius erupted, completely burying the city. It remained surprisingly well preserved under layers of pumice and ash for 1700 years and was accidently rediscovered by a peasant farmer under one of his fields. Today it provides wonderful insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire.

I have based the design of Pompeii - House of Shadow & Light on the original floorplans of The House of the Faun. All of the content that I have created is also authentic to the period, much of it from The House of the Faun. Where ever possible, I have noted the origin of the images in their descriptions.

As with The House of the Faun, the front of the house is comprised of three small public shops, perfect for those sims that want to run their own home business.

The private home contains 2 atriums that are open to the sky allowing for the collection of rain water. The dining rooms, kitchen and offices remain in their original locations. The Viridarium, with its many pillars has been configured as a stage for entertaining.

There are 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms as well as a bath area including cold and warm pools.
