Feels Big-a starter house that plays large

I named this house 'Feels Big' as soon as I'd played it for a few days. It's opening price is under 20,000 ($19,838 in the version here), which is very sparsely furnished in a manner that will let 1 or 2 people subsist until they get a paycheck. There is no landscaping, as it is a choice between a fridge and tree. All the money is in the house and 2x3 lot. If you are looking for something large enough for a big family that you can buy for under $20,000, this is as good as it gets.


The house is styled after a 'southern balconied house' that I saw in a house buying guide. I tried it out just to play something different from my normal New England style houses. I actually didn't think it would play that well. Boy, was I surprised. It plays well, even for a family of eight. And, since it takes up only one side of the lot (including the driveway--for which there is space but not concrete), there is also plenty of yard room. That familiy of eight did a lot of farming for its living in this house.

The house has four bedrooms, three of which are large, two and a half baths, a country kitchen, a large livingroom and a lot of balcony space.
