Other Information:
* Hogwarts is a MASSIVE castle. Suggestions for game play is to keep decorations simple and to a minimum. Remember, this castle makes for great interaction and Sim videos. However, if you overload the castle (which is already quite large), it may slow down game play. It may also help to eliminate walls that are not useful. My Harry Potter Sims visit Hogwarts. Dumbledore and McGonagall live there. Nonetheless, it is still a great castle for your Sims and represents Hogwarts proudly!

* There are several rooms without doors. I did this intentionally. You will need to download an invisible door to place over the Fruitbowl Picture (with the pear) by the Kitchen, The Room of Requirement Wall, over the image of the "Fat Lady" and over the wall leading to Dumbledore's Office and Room. * You also may have noticed that I did NOT include fireplaces. I did this because I did not like the look of the chimneys...so here is a direct link to a "working" fireplace by Mia that has no chimney :

* The Moveable Stairs are not really moveable. The Stairwell runs from the Dungeon Level to the 4th Floor.


* I used every wall tile that can be used on this lot, which means that if you want to add a wall you must remove another. I tried to include everything with this download, so hopefully you will not need to rearrange the walls too much. I've already rearranged my decorated version a little. Keep this in mind just in case. The game only alots a little over 900 useable wall tiles in one lot. The same is true for fences, windows, etc. I used ALL available wall tiles to create this little masterpiece. Enjoy!

* Due to the size of the actual castle, I decided to combine a few rooms on one floor. Please understand that this is not the television version. I tried to stay true to the books as much as possible, but I also wanted this lot to be Sim friendly. The house dorms are each located in a tower. They were designed for up to 8 students per tower (4 boys and 4 girls). This is my favorite replica of Hogwarts as I think it is more true to form and encompasses a little of everything with ample space to create classrooms and have school.

There is a smaller version of Hogwarts (both decorated and undecorated) available for those of you who prefer smaller lots as I do.

These lots are creations from my imagination based mainly on excerpts from the books and on-line information. I am basing very little on the movie versions of each place, so don't expect exact replica's of movie versions of the various places in the Magic and Muggle World.

MY VISION FOR HARRY POTTER NEIGHBORHOOD:
My vision for this neighborhood is that the students do not "live" in Hogwarts. I see the school as home to only a few teachers (Dumbledore, McGonagall, Trelawney). Everyone else is spread out in either their family homes or in the Summer Houses.
