Finally? I have developed a camera mod that affects the Live camera!
It took some thinking, since I went back to read what SleepycatDSL said about "Fov" in the Neighborhood camera. I took a look at the one(fov) in "live Camera" and fooled around with it, tested it in my game and found out that it worked... I managed to increase the zoom for in-game viewing! Anyway,
Lets get to the goodies:

please do not upload this anywhere without my permission, make sure you have put your original "live camera" somewhere safe.
Put it into:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Cameras
And copy your "live camera" and put it somewhere safe.

All that this does is increasing zoom,
remember this, when you zoom in all the way and rotate the camera... it goes fast... but not extremely fast that would make you go saying "OH MY! WHAT HAVE I DONE!" heheheh,
