A Trio of Dresses

I had this idea to make a handkerchief-style dress with a layered skirt, and the only way I could see to do it was to make the skirt alpha-editable. Once I made the mesh, I realized how versatile it could be... and two more outfits were born!

The first is a fun white outfit (hey, Sims never stain their clothes!) with a short, swingy dress with a tied sash over white pantalettes.



Then I thought my Sims needed something really colourful. It won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it has a cheerful carnival feel to it. The striped bodice matches the pieced, pointed skirt. This dress comes with pink shoes.



And, finally, I wanted something a little more formal. So I made a black dress with lace trim and a sheer underlayer. This outfit has red shoes.



And there you have it: three brand-new outfits for your Sim girls. All are set as Everyday (the black dress is also set as Formal), and come with a working fat morph. Due to the nature of alpha meshes, there might be a bit of weirdness when your Sim makes extreme movements (such as crouching or hacking up a lung). Otherwise, the mesh should work fine.
