St. Simeon Chapel of Bliss
This is the first chapel I've built for The Sims. It's actually a residential home, however, your sim doesn't have to use it that way. The lot could be changed into a community lot. In the backyard of St. Simeon is a small graveyard and some park benches where your sim(s) can rest and enjoy the many flowers and trees around and also a little fish pond. At the frontside to the left are two parking spaces for the cars and at the right side is a fountain with park benches around so your sim(s) have plenty of places to enjoy the beauty of this old building.
The little apartment at the second floor is small and has a bedroom for one sim. There's also a writing desk with a laptop to entertain your sim. There's no tv and no radio but a book shelf. Well, it's a priest's home and not an amusement park.... obviously.
Built/Saved/Playtested with Game Version 5.0.44.008017
Lot Size:
House fits on all flat 30x30 lots (or bigger)
Lot Price:
Furnished: 112,512 §
Unfurnished: 68,555 §
Rooms:
- bedroom
- kitchen w/ dining corner and lounge area
- bathroom
- choir stalls
- public toilets
- sanctuary & confessional room
Cheats used:
Buydebug and Moveobjects.
Please note that the chairs in the sanctuary have been moved together with "moveobjects" and are for decoration only, sims can not sit on them (even the option is given if you click on the chair) - if you would like to use the church for weddings, please remove the chairs next to the wall so that your sim(s) can sit on the other chairs that are left.
This house was originally built for the Foundation - Chat Thread (with game version 4.2) and had a lot of Store Items included. I removed most of the store items so that you won't have to buy too much extra stuff if you'd like to add this lot to your game. I checked the file with CUSTARD (big thanks to Delphy for this amazing tool) to make sure that there is nothing included that doesn't belong there.
There's no custom content, no custom patterns but still some premium content from the Sims 3 Store used for this build. Some of it is free and most of it is not required for the lot to work in game, you can replace those items if you wish. Please make sure to add at least the windows (listed below) to your game (or similar cc windows), otherwise the chapel won't look like an old chapel anymore.
Store items (not included in this download):
- Gothique Window – costs 100 SimPoints -
- Faire Folk Window – costs 100 SimPoints -
- Pedro Estate Chandelier – costs 25 SimPoints -

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
