Anacondo - 20br, 48ba

Its fangs drizzling with avarice, the monstrous Anacondo will gobble dozens of sims and organize them inside its many bellies. It will fill their heads with a fantastic arguement of how mirthful and wonderous it is to abide a community severed from the average sim. For one to deal with the Anacondo is to ask asylum and depart the bourgeois and register oneself to its prestigiously egotistical collective. And in its debt the stronger its influence alienates them from the common consciousness of simanity until the day arrives when they are needed for its designs.

Tested on Intel Core2Duo 3.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD4890 1 GB, base game TS3 patched to 1.17 using Twallan's Master Controller to play 24 sims for one sim week at 1280 x 800 resolution ( 16:10 ), with Enable Object Hiding checked and High Detail Lots set to 2. If you similar specs similar then I believe you can run the lot fine with 24 sims under the same settings. I do not have Late Night, so I made this. ( Warning! ) If your specs are below my recommended specs then the lot will likely run slow or may crash your game, and I would suggest the much lighter T-Apartments ( http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=422208 ).

There are two downloads, choose either:

Lagginess:

1. If you have Late Night then you can reduce lag by converting unwanted rooms or whole apartment units into dummy space. First, empty the rooms of all furniture. Then enter the console by pressing CTRL + Shift + C. Then enter testingcheatsenabled true. Then, enter BuyDebug into the console and a new menu path will appear in Buy mode ( it looks like a question mark ) where you will find the Hidden Room Marker in the misc section ( it looks like a silver ball ). Finally, place one of these in every empty room that you want to dummy. The Hidden Room Marker can be removed if with [/I]moveobjects on[/I].

2. If you do not have Late Night the above fix is still available. ( Thanks to jonha for correcting this )



Paranoia:

Are you paranoid that this lot will melt your graphics card? TS3 has no V-sync with no limitations on render speed, so limit this to 30 FPS to prevent your expensive video card from dying. Download both 3booter-win.zip and fpslimit.zip here: ( http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/s...ic,15585.0.html )
Unzip the contents of both .zips into your root TS3 folder, where you can see resource.cfg and the mods folder. 3Booter will act as your shortcut to TS3 and work with the FPS limiter to keep your graphics rendering at a safe speed. If 30 FPS is too low for your taste then you can increase it ingame by pressing F12 to raise it and F11 to lower it. No need for paranoia now.

To Allow more than eight sims using Twallan's Master Controller, click the Town Hall and set Allow More Than 8 Sims in a Household to True.

If you are using Download #1 Anacondo:
This is likely not the one you want, but there are no requirements other than patch 1.17. This lot will play like a community center, not an apartment complex, as there is nothing in the way of stopping sims from walking all over the lot with umpunity, unless you have some way by another mod of restricting sims to their own areas.

If you are using Download #2 Anacondo with MultiOwnersDoors 2.1:
This is the one you want to play like an apartment complex, and it requires Flyby's MultiOwnersDoors 2.1. Be sure to set all pink barricade doors and the underground French double door to the nursery under ownership of Private Services so that service sims ( maid, fireperson, repairperson, ect. ) can get in.

I recommend against using the freerealestate cheat to buy the lot underfunded. Supposedly TS3 can't handle that much debt.

When playing more than eight sims the interface will still show eight portraits. To select a sim that is not in the portraits section you can switch to them with the Space Bar, or you can right-click on the target sim.
