Would you please test the following new objects for me please?
I was soooooooooooooooooooooo happy
that I've finally mastered the Colour Enabling....that I decided it was time to have a go at something new. Furniture. Here are my latest creations... a dining table and matching chair designed in the Mackintosh style. They have been made with SimPE v.18 so should be EP ready, have their own unique (registered) GUID's so won't conflict with anything in your game. ....and.....best of all.... available in THREE colours...
(though I prefer the Black Ash myself).(before anyone says.... I have deliberately spelt 'Mackintosh' wrongly in the catalogue descriptions ... [Makintosh] ... as I know how true Mackintosh lovers would be appauled by my lousy interpretation of his amazing designs. This Makintosh is meant to be the 'Sim-Makintosh' ...
Anyway, it's given me soooo much pleasure to see my Sim-self actually 'using' one of my creations... (getting the chair to fit the animation points was a nightmare....) that it means that all the blood, sweat and (many) tears of the last few weeks has finally paid off for me. To anyone thinking of starting to make objects ....believe me, when you see them working in the game, it's such a buzz that it's worth all the effort to learn!
Also, as I've not really been taking that much notice of polygon counts in the object creations I've made before, I'm very interested to see how these new objects play on slower machines ... especially since they are animated. Feedback from 'lower spec' machine users would be very much appreciated.
The zip file contains all six packages -one for each chair and table in each colour.
(To make more recolours, make sure you use the package file file WITHOUT a colour in it's name).
hope you can find time to test them for me and let me know if there are any problems.
cheers
Bob
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
