Fantasy Judicial Career
This career does not overwrite EA careers.
Instructions:
1. You need Twallan's Career Base-Mod correctly matched with your game patch number, found here: Nrass Career Mod
2. It does not seem to matter if you have a lesser or higher patch than I had when I made the career. The Base-Mod just has to be matched to your EA update/patch number.
3. I will only use Base Game rabbit hole classification for my careers. These include Grocery, Restaurant (Bistro), School, Bookstore, Theatre, City Hall, Mausoleum, and Hideout rabbit holes.
4. You need the EA rabbit hole lot OR a custom lot with a Rabbit Hole Rug/Door already placed in your town before putting the career in your mod-package folder or it will not show up. Find the rugs/doors here: Rabbit Hole Replacement Project
5. I have not assigned a career outfit. The game randomly assigns one; you can choose to assign a second outfit in game, or you can choose to use Shimrod's No Career Outfits Mod

Intrigue, power plays, and the rewards of ruling the lives of your clan's citizens could be yours! A vocation at the Hall of Edicts demands hard work, social skills, and critical thinking.
Hall of Edicts (Fantasy Judicial)
Environments: Fantasy, Medieval
Rabbit Hole: City Hall
Opportunities: None
Work Tones: Standard
Skill Tones: None
Skills Needed: Writing, Logic, Charisma
The long journey to ruling your clan begins with tiring, thankless toil. You are everyone's gopher, and everyone wants you to deliver their messages, shine their leather shoes, and you better make sure the quills are sharp and the ink wells are full! Don't forget to read those long and very boring scrolls your mentor assigned.
Wage Per Day: 40
Pension Per Day: 5
Hours: 8-4
Days: M,T,W,R,F,S
2.Hall of Edicts Scribe
No more shoe-shining or chasing imps out of the Hall latrines! Now you get to write...and write...and write some more. At least you get to scream at the Apprentices when the quills are as dull as the edicts you get to copy (over and over and over and...).
Wage Per Day: 120
Pension Per Day: 30
Hours: 8-4
Days: T,W,R,F,S
3.Hall of Edicts Clerk
Now that your fingers are nicely mangled from all that copying, it's time to file those scrolls! Your place in the scheme of things is to catalogue, cross-reference, and fetch scrolls needed by your superiors, who will provide delightful conversation such as, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE SCROLL IS MOLDY AND MOTH-EATEN?! I NEED THOSE CODES NOW, SO GO FIND ANOTHER COPY, AND STOP WHINING TO ME ABOUT GNOME BITES!!!
Wage Per Day: 240
Pension Per Day: 40
Hours: 8-4
Days: M,T,W,R,F,S
4.Clan Council Assistant
At long last, you are rubbing elbows with the wise rulers! Or at least shining their shoes. And fetching their nectar ale. And copying their long-winded dictations. And chasing imps out of the latrines. And...hey, wait a minute...you can delegate these requests to the Apprentices and focus on hovering by your assigned Council Member's side! Don't forget to look thoughtful and gush compliments whenever possible.
Wage Per Day: 300
Pension Per Day: 80
Hours: 12-5
Days: M,T,W,R,F,S
5.Hall of Edicts Consult
Now that you know the laws and codes of your clan inside out, you get to answer questions and give advice, such as to clan members who want to know if they are legally entitled to evict the pixies squatting in their pantry. You also get to write out petitions to the council and represent squabbling neighbors. Luckily, it's the Scribes who have to make copies, copies, and more copies! Don't forget to scream at the Hall Clerks and suck up to the Council Members.
Wage Per Day: 400
Pension Per Day: 200
Hours: 12-5
Days: T,W,R,F,S
6.Guild Consult
You've dealt with the general codes; now it's time to delicately twist and manipulate the guild codes! Every guild leader is your best friend and your worst enemy. They'll love you when you successfully convince the council to allow safe, non-polluting smog to rise from their kilns and blame you when the council decides to raise guild tithes.
Wage Per Day: 425
Pension Per Day: 250
Hours: 12-5
Days: T,W,R,F,S
7.Clan Council Member
You've toiled hard and now you get to make all the decisions! You meet twice a week with the council and hear arguments from the Consults. You dictate law and code to the overworked Scribes while your overworked Assistant fetches an overworked Apprentice to shine your shoes. Doesn't it feel wonderful to give orders?
Wage Per Day: 750
Pension Per Day: 300
Hours: 12-5
Days: T,W,F,S
8.Clan Leader
You're in charge of it all. You get all the perks of a council member with the added bonus of solunm...solumn...gravely opening the meeting with the Sacred Gavel of Justice. You have to work an extra day, but it involves screaming at the Consults, so you'll enjoy the time immensely.
Wage Per Day: 750
Pension Per Day: 350
Hours: 12-5
Days: T,W,R,F,S
9.Interclan Diplomat
You are now one of the most powerful leaders of all the clans! Since the Clan Councils take care of most of the justice and law writing, your task mostly involves traveling to other lands, staying in pleasant palaces, and hearing all the juicy gossip about other clans. You will revel in your power as the peons worship you with awe.
Wage Per Day: 2000
Pension Per Day: 400
Hours: 12-5
Days: W,S
10. Interclan Council Leader
There is no greater power in all the land, and no job so rewarding or lacking in tedious toil. You wear the Crown of Ultimate Justice, and all adore and revere you! You won't take gross advantage of that, surely not! By the way, you wouldn't happen to know where the coin chests for the Orphaned and Oddly-Behaved Twittercorns Trust Fund disappeared to, would you? I'm just asking becau--No, I wasn't accu--well, yes I like my job...Of COURSE I believe the Trust Fund was raided by Ninja Rabbits. Would you like more nectar ale? I'll just go get you some...
Wage Per Day: 2250
Pension Per Day: 450
Hours: 12-5
Days: W,S

For a detailed look at individual files, see the Information tab. |
Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
