Manor Gardening Career
The nobles of the land need motivated workers for their Manor Gardens who are extremely talented in the Arts of Subservience and Drudgery! If you want a career in which you endlessly toil so the well-to-do types can sit around and simper, then grab your sickle and scythe, for this is the field for you!
This career does not overwrite EA careers.
Instructions:
1. You need Twallan's Career Base-Mod correctly matched with your game patch number, found here: Nrass Career Mod
2. It does not seem to matter if you have a lesser or higher patch than I had when I made the career. The Base-Mod just has to be matched to your EA update/patch number.
3. I will only use Base Game rabbit hole classification for my careers. These include Grocery, Restaurant (Bistro), School, Bookstore, Theatre, City Hall, Mausoleum, and Hideout rabbit holes.
4. You need the EA rabbit hole lot OR a custom lot with a Rabbit Hole Rug/Door already placed in your town before putting the career in your mod-package folder or it will not show up. Find the rugs/doors here: Rabbit Hole Replacement Project
5. I have not assigned a career outfit. The game randomly assigns one; you can choose to assign a second outfit in game, or you can choose to use Shimrod's No Career Outfits Mod

Descriptions and Wages *CHEEKY INNUENDO ALERT*
Ah, the sweet smell of success in obtaining steady employment in a field where the value of your longwinded and incompetent prose, poetry, pondering, politicizing, philosophizing, proselytizing, proposing, postulating, predicting, and preaching are barely noticed over the odor of bovine digestive by-products that you spread across fertile fields - what? That means cow patties. Anyway, you will soon be an expert in sorting and judging the quality and quantity of all fertilizing products provided by the ponderous ungulates - oh, get a definitionarial scroll already!
Wage Per Hour: 9
Wage Per Week: 432
Pension Per Day: 30

2. Scarecrow
Stand perfectly still. Do not scratch your nose. Wait until the Twiddling Corbies and corn pixies flitter closer - now screech and wave your arms! Make bellowing noises like Mrs. Crunklepepper discovering a drunk, naked gnome in her pillow case! Don't bother shrieking at the rabbits; they know you can't chase them. Why? Because you are tied to a post, you idiot! No wonder it took so long for you to get promoted.
Wage Per Hour: 11
Wage Per Week: 462
Pension Per Day: 33
Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Days: TWRFSU
3. Fieldhand
Now your toil truly begins! You sow what you reap and you reap what you sow! You sew up rips in your pants after a rousing game of Scythe the Noobs. You shuffle up and down crop rows, sowing and reaping, digging and shoveling, kicking 'Tater Rabbits out of your way, and tossing the occasional Soygnome at the Scarecrow for fun. During harvest time, its on to the tedious task of stripping the fields bare. Also, artisans may ask you to bend over, grab a handful of standing wheat, pretend you are about to shear the wheat with your sickle, and hold that pose for hours.
Wage Per Hour: 13
Wage Per Week: 546
Pension Per Day: 39
Hours: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Days: MWRFSU
4. Picker
Off to the orchards with you! Time to scale flimsy ladders to pick the fruits of tree-love! Many of the tree-types, like the Ominously Ornery Oak, do not care for your attentions, and will try to swipe you off your perch! After hours of straining to reach citrusy goodness, its off to the berry fields, where you will judge the width, length, and stabbiness of thorns! Don't let the Overseer catch you with berry juice all over your face; you'll be hung by the toes over the Laird's Pit of Pet Venomous Hippos!
Wage Per Hour: 17
Wage Per Week: 612
Pension Per Day: 43
Hours: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MTWFSU
5. Overseer
Feeling a little bitter about serfing away for lazy, no-good...er, wonderful, kind, beautiful, awe-inspiring nobles? Well, now the dried cow patties are rolling downhill! You get to order about a motley collection of Fieldhands, screaming at those who just aren't putting their backs into stooping for a pittance. You also get to punish those who refuse to comply! No, you don't get to pull out their nose hairs one by one. Not officially, anyway. Look, we can't talk about this in public. Meet me in the middle of the cornfield at midnight, where all the Overseers are having a secret meeting about unapproved dungeonwork...
Wage Per Hour: 22
Wage Per Week: 792
Pension Per Day: 62
Hours: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MTWRFU
6. Florist
Congratulations! Someone up high noticed you have a knack for designing attractive displays of flowery flattery. Now you get to do the same with real flowers! Of course, you have to raise them first. And you get to sneeze a lot and nurse Rosegnome bites. The pot you get to take home makes it all worth it. Yes, that lovely decorative pot sitting right on your mantle, containing a fragrant green herb, serves as a reminder of the Lebowski Scroll, which states one must abide in all situations in which one finds one's spiritual composure tested, especially in the case of missing rugs.
Wage Per Hour: 29
Wage Per Week: 870
Pension Per Day: 62
Hours: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MWRSU
7. Head Gardener
You are well on your way to mediocrity! As Head Gardener, you get to dispense wisdom about staking Vampire Tomatoes and explanations of why manor gardens are called gardens when everyone knows they are really fields where miserable serfs - Ok, ok, calm down! You are right; serfery has been outlawed for months. Yes, yes, every fieldworker gets paid a decent wage and is adequately compensated in the unfortunate event of grapevine mauling.
Wage Per Hour: 35
Wage Per Week: 1050
Pension Per Day: 75
Hours: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MTWFS
8. Orchardier
After years of blindly loyal service, you've become stubborn, rigid, hard-tempered, deeply rooted, and fond of rain. As such, you make the perfect choice for supervising an orchard! You plan out the daily activities of teams of Pickers, which involve picking, picking, and more picking! You fuss at the Overseers when the Overseers aren't finding much reason to fuss at the Pickers. When the Crab Apple Tree tries to pinch you, just let your axe-like gaze fall upon it. That crabby old tree will find you so intimidating that you'll get pinched no more than 7 times!
Wage Per Hour: 56
Wage Per Week: 1400
Pension Per Day: 100
Hours: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MTRFS
9. Vigneron
You are beloved by all highfalutin drunks! They will toast your name as they waste mouthfuls of wine and nibble on odd-tasting cheeses. You are the first step in a process that takes grapes and other fruits and turns them into liquidy celebrations of flavor and snobbery! Be sure to pace up and down the vineyard with an eye out for Teetotaling Moles. You don't want them to emerge from their holes, raging and slashing at your precious vines!
Wage Per Hour: 115
Wage Per Week: 2300
Pension Per Day: 164
Hours: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Days: MWFSU
10. Kloromystic
You have reached a state of Klorophilic enlightenment few attain! You've spent so much time with plants that your skin has taken on a greenish tinge, and flowers, bushes, trees, and vines all tremble and rustle at your approach! You know their xylem and phloem inside out. None but you knows how to soothe the Petunia of Petulance or console the Weeping Willow. Sometimes trees get so excited by your creaky murmurings that they sap all over themselves!
Wage Per Hour: 243
Wage Per Week: 3888
Pension Per Day: 277
Hours: 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
