This is a house for about two sims that have just moved out and are planning to start a family.
It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The house itself is fully furnished with basic rooms and does have an outdoor deck.

It's probably not going to be the easiest if you are planning to expand it lengthwise, although, it might be best to expand upwards.
