I've created a new wall based on a tile wall in the game and an in game wall that is plain with crown moulding and baseboards.
With the in game "subway tiles" looking wall it extended all the way up to the ceiling which did not look good when used in a kitchen with a medium or taller wall.
As you can see below, when it extends all the way to the ceiling and you're using a wall with crown moulding next to it, it doesn't look good. Also, I felt the tiles were too large for this type of use.
Now, with this wall, you can have a nice backsplash type wall in your kitchen without the tiles sticking out above the cabinets. These walls also match up perfectly with a solid non-tiled set I've made which you can download here: (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=539170).
Here you can see the tiled wall being used during gameplay with the wall on the shortest height.
You can find this wall in the Tiles section and it is $2.

Recolors are okay but please link back and credit me. You do not need to worry about crediting me if my work can be seen in your photos you share for simblrs and things like that. (Though it's always appreciated! I track the tag #melbcc on tumblr.)
