Purpose

Inspired by Sun&Moon's Au Naturel Pet Food, to provide a naturalistic outdoor pet bed with a variety of recolours. Cats, dogs and toddlers can all make use of this bed.

Note: Pets is required for this item to be available from the catalogue.


Description

This outdoor themed bed never needs cleaning. Together with the food hunting capabilities provided by Au Naturel Pet Food, the bed enables pets to live with a minimum of intervention from their Sim families.

Pets will climb into and out of the bed and circle realistically before laying down. The bed is still functional if placed off grid and/or overlapped with other objects. The bed also work as a decorative object and is neighbourhood viewable.

This rustic bed allows for pet woohoo in a perfectly natural way - in the open air (but with the participants discreetly invisible).

Toddlers can be selected to sleep in the pet bed, gaining a small amount of Nature Enthusiasm while doing so. By design, toddlers will not choose to sleep in the bed autonomously. If Apartment Life is available, toddlers will fully animate as they climb into or out of the bed, otherwise they simply slide in or out of it.

If Seasons is installed, the insulating qualities of the bed will prevent toddlers from becoming too hot or too cold - saving them from a social worker abduction caused by exposure to extreme temperatures. Often this thermal moderation will be enough to preserve a toddler who already passed the temperature limits before retiring to bed.

The Perfectly Natural Pet Bed - located in the General/Pets and in the Garden/Shrubs catalogue sections for §65 each, this bed has the same Comfort and Energy ratings for pets as EA's "Average Paws Bedding" doghouse. For toddlers, the Energy ratings are the same as the basegame crib.
