Hiya Simmers!

Got kind of a cute one for you today. This is a maxis-match flooring set that allows you to build your own baby bear rug in almost any size you want! Its designed to go with the "Classic" nursery set that came with Freetime. These floors feature the same teddy bear design from the wallpapers, and are available in the same four colors: blue, pink, yellow, and green. As long as the rug is at least 2x2 tiles big, you can make it! (Alternatively, you could also just have a wall-to-wall bordered carpet rather than a rug. Your choice. )

My "Build a Bear Rug" set uses textures from existing maxis carpets, so the plain center pieces already exist in game. For your convenience, my floors tell you which plain carpet they match in the in-game descriptions. This set is base-game compatible; however, you will need the expansions those plain carpets came in or you won't have any center pieces for larger rugs. (But you can still make smaller rugs -- 2x2, 2x3, anything that doesn't need a plain center).

So for reference:
  • Pink: "The Pinkish Fantasy" ($3): Family Fun Stuff
  • Blue: "Carpet of the Country with Provence Blue" ($3): Seasons
  • Yellow: "The Next Vroom to the Finish Car" ($2): Seasons
  • Green: "'Green Means Go' Durawear Carpet" ($2): Nightlife

And if for some reason you want to use it, I made the white border with the "Fancy Filigree Carpet in Ivory" ($4) from Celebrations Stuff.

This rug set has one very minor imperfection: there is a faint line that appears on the edge of the corner tiles. I drove myself crazy trying to figure out why, until I realized that the way the floors seem to be working in the game is that each tile has the image I created plus a single pixel of repetition. Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything I can do to fix that. But we are only talking a single pixel; depending on your graphics card, settings, monitor, etc, you may not even be able to see it.

I hope you enjoy this set!
