This large Victorian home has three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. It is based off of 13 Skyborough Boulevard (AKA the Goth Mansion) from The Sims 3!

One of my favorite things to do is rebuild old houses from previous Sims titles. Seeing as I just finished Villa Alto and the Landgraab Estate, I thought it was fitting to also include a version of the Goth Mansion from The Sims 3 for The Sims 4. The layout of the home is nearly (if not completely) identical to its Sims 3 counterpart; the main difference here is the yard and landscaping. The house in The Sims 3 sits on a much larger lot than this house does (60x60 vs 40x30), but I think it works well. The exterior and interior walls are covered in different paint/wallpaper than what appears in The Sims 3, but overall the house is still a recognizable recreation. I also moved around some of the furniture pieces just to suite my tastes better.

This home heavily used Get Together and Cats and Dogs both on the exterior walls and interior furnishings. Get Together windows are used throughout the build, and shingles from Cats and Dogs cover the exterior walls. Cats and Dogs more so than Get Together was used on the interior, but both packs are needed to make the house appear as it does in the photos. I DID include base game furniture pieces in the attic that you can use to furnish the living room if you don't have Cats and Dogs, though!

I LOVE how this home turned out. The exterior, especially in the summer (if you have seasons), looks very nice. I like the landscaping as well. I kind of wish I had the Vampires game pack - I think the furniture that comes with that pack would look really great. If you have it and download this house please send me photos with the furniture in place of what I put here! I would love to see it! Overall, I think this house does a good job of replicating the look of the Sims 3 version from a decade ago, while also bringing it into 2019 with some much needed aesthetic upgrades!

I hope you love this home as much as I do! House has been play-tested and is CC FREE!
