Hello there!

Right when Cottage Living came out I wanted to make something in an Oriental style simply because I find its aesthetic and culture so beautiful and interesting. Since we already had a whole pack about Japan, things got way much easier. I did a little research and found out that the actual Japanese farms look NOTHING like the one I made, STILL I wanted it to have strong traditional architecture that most people know the country for. Because of that, I apologize if you're Japanese and think this has nothing to do with your culture in the country. On the other hand, I hope you are able to appreciate my effort in trying to make something as close to Japan's culture as possible. Another thing that I wanted to state is that you'll notice that the inside of the house is quite modern. I imagined that the family that bought it redecorated it only in the inside just because they thought that the previous decoration was too old fashioned. Also, I had a hard time when I tried to make it look older, so...
