ANNOUNCEMENT! I will no longer be posting new mods on MTS! I'll still maintain the ones here with bug fixes and major updates, but all updates and new mods will be posted on my Website and Patreon (link in profile)

Not only does this give some objects a purpose, but it also lets you change your sim into and out of outerwear without going into a picker. Nothing fancy, just put on outerwear if you're not wearing it and take it off (change into everyday) if you are.

This is a bit simpler than the version Zer0 put out but since I had already started on it when he released his I figured I'd just finish it anyway. If you want to check out a more in-depth mod instead of this I certainly don't blame you. I had a link here but I was asked to remove it. I'm sure you can find him through a Google search.

These are overrides to the EA objects, giving them custom tuning. It shouldn't conflict with anything unless you have something else that happens to modify these objects specifically, but please let me know if you have any problems with it.

Update 5/13/22:
  • I realized that having Separate, Merged, and Merged by pack was probably confusing so I’ll be slowly updating all my mods to use a new structure.
  • So that means that starting with v1.1.2 the Separate download has been discontinued.
  • Renamed the files to better reflect the mod name
  • Now there are two downloads: Merged and ByPack.
    – Merged contains all objects in one file.
    – ByPack contains a TUNING file and one file per pack. You can pick and choose the packs you have/want
    – Each download also contains a file explaining this.
  • Please delete your existing files and redownload one of the new zips because the renamed files won’t overwrite the old ones.
  • Added Polish translation from Mircul

Past Updates:


The new strings are in English, Polish, and Russian only at the moment. I don't speak any other languages nearly well enough to translate them so I welcome any translations that anyone can offer and will credit all translators.

Known issues
  • Not exactly an issue since it's probably better from a time management perspective, but I can't get it to work with sims walking up to the objects. They'll change clothes wherever they currently are.
