As we all know, EA only gave us the Late Night lounges in their skyscrapers. As someone who liked these lots, I couldn’t place them in other worlds like Sunset Valley or Moonlight Falls as the skyscrapers stuck out like a sore thumb. So, instead of lamenting about it, I decided to recreate the lounge areas without the skyscrapers, elevators and/or parking garages (minus The Grind). I chose not to include elevators as EA included stairs in all but one of the original versions of the two-story bars, clubs and lounges. The basement in Plasma 501 was the only time that EA didn’t use stairs as an alternative access point. During the rebuilding process of this lot, I used a ladder instead (didn’t have enough room for stairs). For landscaping, I mostly copied what EA had given to the original lots. Since I had built the lounge areas first, some landscaping had to be adapted for the rebuilt versions. For the entire rebuilding process, I tried to keep as true to what EA had done as possible.

Below is a list of the changes that I incorporated into my rebuilding process:
Banzai Lounge: The instruments were placed in the middle of the raised stage; the VIP and non-VIP bathrooms were rebuilt in the basement; the non-VIP basement area changed to accommodate the stairs; took out the orange arrows on the flooring outside of the woman’s VIP bathroom; turned the woman’s VIP bathroom into a universal bathroom with 2 additional stalls; the bubble blower was moved further into the VIP room to accommodate the new VIP entrance.
Plasma 501: The basement was downsized; the first floor light and gobo were moved so they aren’t shown on the second floor; changed the elevator to a ladder; and took out the side door leading outside.
The Prosper Room: The first floor lights and gobo were moved so they aren’t shown on the second floor and took out the side door leading outside.

The names of the lounges that I rebuilt include the roman numeral II at the end of the original name. So, in the case of Banzai Lounge, I’ve renamed it to Banzai Lounge II. This is to differentiate between the original lounges provided by EA and the versions that I rebuilt of just the lounge areas.

The rebuilt bars and clubs come in two flavors:
EA lighting: the only lighting that is used is the ones that EA had originally included.
Extra lighting: I didn’t add any more physical lighting such as outdoor lights and ceiling lamps. Instead, I used the invisible lighting (the white boxes/circle) from the buydebug catalog to compliment the lighting that EA had given us. This means that you won’t see any additional lighting in live mode.
