hmiller61615's "Go Hunting" Spears Revamped

Description
An interesting object by hmiller61615, that actually adds a bit of gameplay element to the game! There is some balancing issue with the original, so I went to town and piled upon it more and more features. Timer-based countdown for returning home was the most basic addition...

The revamped version has a lot of new features. It has 3 interactions, including the original Go Hunting. Having a spear in the inventory is no longer needed. Sims and pets simply walk up to the spear bundle, touch /yowl at it , and run off the lot. They will return when the timer runs out, or when forced to such as canceling the interaction.

The revamped object is now named Milliman H. Hunting Spears and can be found in Hobbies -> Miscellaneous. It costs $699 and has a fairly complete description.


Features
Go Hunting

• Available for teens and older
• Hunting Sim will take 4 hours before returning home.
• Cleaning, Body and Cooking skills combined reduce time spent on a hunt, down to a minimum of 2 hours.

• Hunting Sim will return with a random result - "nothing", "2 dishes", or "group serving".
• Body skill, Nature enthusiasm, and starting mood combined dictate the score; higher scores unlock the better results.
• High scores do not prevent bad results, merely lessen the chance.
• Nature enthusiasm helps avoid the "nothing" result.
• Charisma skill helps turn "2 dishes" into "group serving".

• Builds Body skill, Nature enthusiasm and fitness
• Drains Energy, Comfort and Hygiene; somewhat less than a workout
• Fun loss on nice Sims; bigger gain on mean Sims
• May relief Bladder
• Satisfies the Go Jogging and Go Hiking Wants

Possible results:

1. "nothing":
2. "2 dishes": Comfort Soup; Omelette; Chili con Carne; Salmon
3. "Group serving": Pork Chop; Turkey; Ribs; Trout

Note that ingredients retrieved should be cooked soon, as they will spoil even inside a Sim's inventory.


Go Outing

• Available for children and teens
• From 12:00 to 20:00, or 07:00 to 20:00 during weekends, this interaction becomes available.
• Outing youth will take 3 hours before returning home. If the hour is past 22:00, they will be forced to return home.

• Restores Fun and Social; active Sims gain more Social; outgoing Sims gain more Fun.
• Drains Comfort and Hygiene
• May relief Bladder
• May relief Hunger for 50 Simoleons; restores Comfort if done so
• Satisfies the Go to a Community Lot Want

• Outing youth will return, and if on a good enough starting mood, may do so with a chance card and choices that depend on skill combinations.
• Picking any choice while having at least 4 skill points for each skill in the combination will yield a positive result. There is no negative result.

Choices:

1. Picking: Cooking and Logic: yields 6 random gardening or orchard produce and boost the Gardening talent badge. High skills can increase the yield, up to 18.
2. Tinkering: Mechanical and Cleaning: yields a random small electronics. High skills can yield a microwave or handheld game.
3. Entertaining: Charisma and Body: street performance earns some cash. High skills make the earning bigger.

Go Scavenging

• Available for pets if their Hunger bars are at 3/4 or less.
• Scavenging pet will take 2 hours before returning home.
• Restores Hunger, Social, Fun and Chew/Scratch
• Drains Energy, Comfort and Hygiene
• May relief Bladder

• Scavenging pet may return with $40 to $120 if it can fulfill its Hunger by about 1/3 of the bar.
• Pets can Go Scavenging autonomously, but may return prematurely.
• Can be directed to otherwise in conjunction with the boolProp controlPets and boolProp petActionCancel cheats

Go Hunting and Go Scavenging are available on checked in hotels and campgrounds. Go Outing is only available on owned residential lots. None of them are available on community lots.

Canceling the interaction, or returning home prematurely from poor mood or time, will deduct the score or prevent better results.

Most parameters can be customized in the BCON section. Although you will need some serious mathematics skill. Even I look at my own code with confusion!
