Like I mentioned before, something I enjoy doing is making my sim artists paint whole collections to hang up on galleries, so I'm constantly searching for pictures online. I didn't think I had enough watercolor paintings available for my sims, so I decided to look for a few... and I ended up with way more than that! So here they are.

These paintings aren't really custom content; they're png files that have already been chosen, fitted, cut, resized, and tested, ready to place into the "paintings" folder for sims to paint. Did you know that you don't have to exit the game to be able to put new picture files and get the game to read them? You can place these and any other images into the paintings folder, and they'll be available for painting the next time a sim starts painting a custom painting with the easel.

Alternatively, I thought these paintings would look nice as custom wall hangings for the game, so I made some recolors of the Tropico Birds in the Wild using these same pictures, which you can see here

I took all of these pictures from freepik. I tried to filter out any pictures made with AI, and intentionally went for either hand-painted or digitally drawn watercolor paintings, but if I'm being honest, I do believe some artist use AI to either fully or partly generate their pictures, and then submit them without tagging them as AI... so yeah.
