Strays Don't Leave Immediately

Everyone had a situation before where a stray popped onto your lot and you want to adopt them NOW. You spam some friendly interactions and when the pet is almost at 60 STR they up an leave.

Why is that? It's a Maxis bug. This one also had a simple fix - a BCON in objects.package

Here's the issue:

As you can see, some Maxis employee probably forgot to add a minus before that 50. This means that with the STR threshold of 60 for Adopting a stray, they immediately left when it reached 50. This meant you could barely if ever adopt a stray without using a hack. The stray left before you could adopt them and then they Never Ever appear on the lot again.

This is the fix itself:

Now pets will leave the lot immediately only when STR is -25 or lower.

  • None found. Will conflict with anything that changes the same BCON - 0x7F67DD1B
Compatibility:
  • Made using UC; Pets obviously required.
