Description:
I completely failed to realize until just now how utterly fantastic U-shaped stairs are for small houses! They're not only easier to integrate, but they make the basement/upper floor much more useable too because the hallway remains in the same place. Anyway: This is a tiny starter house for 2-3 sims, equipped with a small pool and two driveways, some landscaping and decoration.
1 x double bedroom
1 x single bedroom
2 x bathroom
1 x kitchen
Basic appliances included: lights, toilet (expensive), bathtub, fridge, kitchen sink, phone, burglar alarm, smoke detector, bookshelf. This house also has an outdoor grill, a toaster oven, an easel and a pool; two driveways included. There's no real living room, but with such a nice garden and perpetual blue skies I would rather hang out at the pool anyway =).
Expandability: Second floor might be an interesting option (requires having figured out split-level stairs), or simply add a room behind the kitchen. The basement could also be expanded a little bit.
Note:
If you get an "expansion pack data required" error upon installation, use Clean Installer instead of the Maxis one. Apparently this is a known issue (not specific to this download), see this thread describing the problem and this post (daysies) explaining the workaround.
Enjoy!

Install Instructions
1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.
