Now your sims can reach the moon-without a rocket! New neighborhood terrain for lush, desert, dirt, or concrete 'hoods. (Dirt/concrete needs Nightlife to work) If you have Nightlife, make sure you download the RAR's with Nightlife in the title. If you don't have Nightlife, download the RAR's that have Original in the title, even if you have other expansion packs.

Nightlife Installation
Extract the Lush/Desert/Dirt/ConcreteLunarTerrain file to your Downloads folder.
Make a backup copy of the Neighborhood file in D:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2 Nightlife\TSData\Res\Text. ("D" may be a different letter on your computer, but usually it's D)
Extract the Neighborhood file you downloaded into the same directory as above.

Non-Nightlife Installation
Extract the Lush/DesertLunarTerrain file to your Downloads folder.
Make a backup copy of the Neighborhood file in D:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\Text. ("D" may be a different letter on your computer, but usually it's D)
Extract the Neighborhood file you downloaded into the same directory as above.

To make a backup of the Neighborhood file: first, go find it in the game directory (Program Files\EA Games...). Then, right+click on it and select Cut. Next, paste it somewhere outside of the EA Games folders, like your desktop or in your My Documents folder. If you decide you don't want the lunar neighborhoods anymore, just cut and paste it back into the game directory.

Only 1 lunar neighborhood mod will work at a time. If you don't want to change the neighborhood name, don't switch the neighborhood files in the game directory. If you don't change the name, more than one moon mod will work at the same time.

Also up are three terrain paints to use in lots. Feel free to use them in any story, movie, or lot upload as long as it's a completely free site. Linking back here is greatly appreciated.

Remember to post here or PM me if you have any problems. Make sure you say what EP's/Stuff Packs you have, since I only have Uni/NLife/OFB/Pets and I can't guarantee compatability with the other games.

Note: Some people have reported then when they try to get rid of the lunar terrain, it's still staying in their game. At the moment, I'm not sure why this happens. All I can say is to make sure that you're using the correct back-up files and getting rid of the correct files. If you get to the point that you decide to uninstall your game, try doing this: Uninstall all of your EP's/Stuff Packs/Base game normally. Then, Navigate to D:\Program Files and check if there's a folder named EA Games. If there is, delete it. Then reinstall your games. This will make the terrains switch back to original no matter what, but it's a pretty drastic measure to take. Don't fiddle with the game directory, and your terrain will be back to normal.

Big thanks to the makers of SimPE, without them this would be impossible! I'm sorry I always forget to say that.
