Harry Potter Collection: #4 Privet Drive (Dursley Residence)

HOUSE INFORMATION
The Dursley Home is located in a fictitious place called Little Whinging, Surrey in England. I imagined Privet Drive as a long row of carbon-copy homes with perfect lawns, where all the women wave goodbye each morning as all the men set off for work. There are 4 seperate downloads available below: a smaller unfurnished house with a different floor plan and 3 versions of the larger house (furnished, unfurnished and a clone). Each version is on a 4 x 5 lot.

Note: The Smaller Version was added AFTER the initial upload. The interior layout for the Smaller Version is different from the Larger Version.

Note: The Smaller House is my ideal of what #4 Privet Drive should be. It combines elements of the Movie Version with elements from the Book Version.


Larger House: #4 Privet Drive (3 Lots)

*Furnished: This version allows you the freedom of playing the game without having to immediately decorate. Just add a few of your Potter objects and make this house your own. Harry's upstairs bedroom is smaller in this version than in the other Large Privet Drive homes.

*Unfurnished: Downloading this version will give you the freedom to decorate with your taste in mind.This house contains minimal furnishings (sinks, kitchen counters, beds, etc.) to give you an idea of furniture placement.

*Privet Drive Clone: I created this lot to represent the other houses in the neighborhood. It is a blank slate. The walls are not painted and there are no furnishings in this house. The lawn is also minimally decorated. This allows you to make a neighborhood of Privet houses, each with their own decor.

MY TEXTURES:
All stephanie b. walls, floors and ground covers included in houses downloaded from MTS2 can be used in lot creations on any free or pay site as long as I receive credit for the textures. Please do not post my textures (walls, floors or groundcovers) or lots on other sites without my permission or reupload them as your own by giving them color face-lifts without giving me credit for the original design. These lots are creations from my imagination based mainly on excerpts from the books and on-line information. I am basing very little on the movie versions of each place, so don't expect exact replica's of movie versions of the various places in the Magic and Muggle World.

MY VISION FOR HARRY POTTER NEIGHBORHOOD:
My vision for this neighborhood is that the students do not "live" in Hogwarts. I see the school as home to only a few teachers (Dumbledore, McGonagall, Trelawney). Everyone else is spread out in either their family homes or in the Summer Houses.
