These are just unaltered clones of the 4 Maxis skintones. They show up as custom content and are meant for people who use default-replacement skins - if you don't use default-replacement skins you don't need these.

Basically, these skins allow people who use default-replacements to still have the Maxis skintones too. They're ideal for using on downloaded sims who need Maxis skin, or as a base for recolours, or for creating your own Maxis-skinned sims. No credit needed if you base recolours off these skins.
