Explomars - African Experimental Home

The idea from this lot came from a great photo that is found here , by Philippe Mousty. His screen name is Explomars and that's how he watermarked the photo, so I named this lot in his honour! Unfortunately, my lot doesn't have a giraffe wandering around the yard.

This lot is very special to me because it brought me to custom content in general and MTS2 in particular. Up until I started building this, I pretty much never used ANY custom content... but when I started this lot, I realized that it just wasn't going to be the same unless I got some spiral stairs and some 3-tile windows... MTS2 had the perfect versions of both, thanks to marvine and zookini! Ever since then, I've been hooked!


These are the four rooms of the first floor (but third story!) Clockwise: living room, bathroom, game room, and kitchen.


These are the four rooms of the second floor. Clockwise: master bedroom, bathroom and stair landing, study, guest or child room.


Clockwise: first floor, second floor, and the entire lot.

Please don't reupload the lot as a whole. Custom content by me is:
-a bedding recolour (orange master bed)
-3 carpet floor tiles (B&W living room)
-2 wall tiles (bedroom mural)
-recolour of a floor rug (leopard print)
-recolour of the round 2 story column
All of that can be used freely, just don't claim it as your own. Credit isn't necessary.

A million thanks to the people who made the custom content in this lot, Marvine and Zookini... the spiral stairs and 3 tile windows are what make this lot great (in my ever-so-humble opinion)!
