I love my home city, and was disapointed when I found out that there wasn't a neighborhood for in on MTS2. So what did I do? Bought SimCity4 and made San Francisco on my own. For my first city, I'd say it turned out pretty well. :-D

I used Google Maps to plan out the neighborhoods, so if you wanted to create a realistic San Francisco, the streets are there. The Sunset District (mainly suburban housing) is the lower area of the map, the Embarcadero takes up the far right street, Haight St is slightly off center, space for Golden Gate Park is in the upper left corner, Twin Peaks is in the center, The Castro runs parallel to the long middle street... :-)

San Francisco itself is pretty small- only ~7 miles by 7 miles. So the map itself isn't extremely large. However, there is still tons of room for housing and community lots. The terrain itself it not at all flat... like the real San Francisco, there are tons of hills.

No EPs are required. In order to play the neighborhood, just drop the files into My Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > SC4Terrains.

For my next project, I'm thinking of creating two neighborhoods to go along with this one... the penninsula (Daly City to San Matteo) and the city of Berkeley. That way, all three neighborhoods would be represented! San Francisco for downtown, the penninsula for the base neighborhood, and Berkeley for University.
