SoHo is a residential neighborhood in New York City and home to many interesting shops, art galleries, and restaurants.
The buildings in the historic and residential district date from the late 19th century and originally housed warehouses, factories and sweatshops. They eventually were converted into apartments with businesses on the ground floor.The neighborhood rose to fame as a neighborhood for artists and bohemians during the 1960s and 1970s. This series called Living in Soho is my recreation of that neighborhood.
SoHo Garden Apartments & Chinese Restaurant is is perfect for a large family that wants to live on the same "block" but in different apartments. It can also be set up for a tenant/landlord with the right mod.
Building 1 is a pre-war renovated elevator building with huge lobby. The lobby can be furnished as a common area. There is a one bedroom apt which is on one floor. The other apartment is a 4 bedroom. The Bedrooms are upstairs.
Building 2 is an older walkup apartment. Notice the old Coca Cola billboard just barely still visible.
There were two small apartments at one time. The previous tenant converted it to a single family with two floors and the bedrooms upstairs. The Chinese restaurant is on the ground floor and you can smell the cooking from upstairs.
The Parking Garage is for all the tenants. There is access directly to building 1 from the garage.
Both buildings are unfurnished but have Bath, Kitchen and Electric. The Restaurant is fully equiped and functions on it's own with an NPC Staff. It can be bought as a home business. This is zoned residential. If you would like to rezone as community, the payphone is still on the lot. Lot was moved into and tested. No Glitches or bugs were detected.
