Fledgling Flats is a new street of 1-story modern starter homes. Each home was designed by a first-year student entering the Landgraab Academy of Design and the teachers assure us that these houses are very livable. The substantial savings on architecture fees have been passed on directly to you.

5 Fledgling Flats - "The Towers"

This geometric Bauhaus-style residence has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on a 2x1 lot with all skills and several extras, including: computer, tv, and stereo. The low price of $19,491 should help you to survive for a while without a job. Fully-furnished for two; the second suite is left unfurnished, for you to finish according to your needs. The foyer has double entry doors and there are also double doors into the master suite. Lighted inside and out. Tastefully decorated in muted tones to fit into the neighborhood, but there's plenty of time left to choose a bolder color scheme before move-in day.

A fairly large home on a small lot. The master ensuite has lots of space for a sink and shower-tub upgrade; there is also the potential for a private toilet room. The spare bedroom is big enough for a nursery, twin beds, or a hobby room, and has its own ensuite bathroom. The angled entry still leaves enough empty area to move around easily in the great room. There is also space on the lot for a future 1-car driveway.

Unfortunately, for this price we were unable to supply any landscaping, except for the newly planted lawn. The parkland behind each lot is for sale, which means that you can use the LotAdjuster to expand this lot at the back, if you require additional space.

The cost of this modern roof was kept low by building only one level of walls per tower, but adjusting the height to make the roof appear to have multiple levels. As well, one tower has an intermediate story of low transparent fencing, which gives the appearance of windows, but at a much lower cost. However, this is still one of the more expensive roofs in this series, so costs were cut further by using less expensive lighting and less interior walls.
