Bachelor at Magen's Bay

Magen's Bay is a real place in the Virgin Islands. I've never been there. Instead I searched the internet for a while trying to find a name that I thought suited the lot. And there we have it. I also doubt they have a lot anything like this there. I was inspired by a house plan . Add a beach lot, extensive landscaping, and some decoration and you have this finished version:




NOTES:

- You may want to get rid of the interior doors and replace them with arches, especially for the bathroom. I kept the doors for integrity to the lot only. Sim's movement will make much more sense if you have arches.

- phoenix_phairie's Modern Georgian Manor Add-Ons Tall Shutterless Window and doors are repository items. You will need the master files for these items to work properly. These files are included if you don't already use her set(s).

- In the picture of the interior I used blake_boy's "Annie" Modular Sofa. However I went with Maxis furniture for the upload since I didn't want to lose my mind trying to find the proper recolor of the sofa and cushions seeing as I can't use Clean Installer because I'm on a Mac. And it kept the file size down. If you use blake_boy's furniture, as I usually do, I would recommend replacing the Maxis love seat and chair with them for better aesthetics.

- This lot was built on a beach lot in Bluewater Village. It was built specifically on the far L side (facing the ocean), but I've set it down along that strip and it worked fine in all spots. If you're not using Bluewater's map/hood then I would suggest placing it on a very flat beach area as you may be prone to problems otherwise. For more information on beach lots you should read this tutorial for more information.

- I used V1ND1CARE's Wall Height Reduction Tutorial so any manipulation with the CFE cheat under the roof will have catastrophic results. Please forget that you read this so you won't have an urge to "fiddle" =)
