Historic Riverview Plantation House
The Historic Riverview Plantation House is a beautiful house with more than one dark stain on its repertoire.
The Riverview Realtors don't fear to show you the beautiful three bedrooms, the kitchen or the Dining room, but what they fear to show you is the history of the Plantation.
The Estate was in Riverview before even the town elders could recall and was built in a terribly oppressive time.
The ownership history is what the realtors stray from discussing and that's precisely what I believe every future resident should know before stepping a foot on the grounds.
The builders of the Plantation were said to be a horrible couple, known for their cruelty, and if the old news clippings are to be believed, were executed on the front lawn of the Estate in the view of the abolitionist farmers that inhabited Riverview.
The building had lain condemned for decades upon decades until a wealthy, yet eccentric couple took the reigns of the Old House. Years after they were charged with grave robbing and multiple counts of witchcraft, when the court date came about and the police arrived to escort them, they were found to have committed suicide in the attic.
The residents of Riverview wondered if the house attracted a certain breed of evil, or if the evil crept up on the people as they resided in the Estate. These ponderings didn't stop the last of the residents from attempting to reside within it.
Frank Dillimore, a Nationwide Star News Anchor and his family was the final family to be associated with the Riverview Plantation House.
They began to renovate the then-condemned estate and modernized the bottom floor, the upper floors however are still in an antique (yet cleaned and polished) state due the builders quitting the job due to "unforseen circumstances". However for a time the stories from the builders hit the newsstands of Riverview in a very sensationalist manner.
The Dillimore family, who were previously a happy family, went through some family problems and eventually they split up.
The Riverview Realty now struggles to sell this Beautiful Estate. They were sure to clean the marble floors, the fixtures, and the fountains. They were sure to take the graves out before the Dillimore's moved in, and they were quite happy to maintain the lawn so visitors receive a cheery reception. But they can't quite clean the history off of the old Historical Riverview Plantation.
-House/Creation Data-
This is my first upload so I hope you all enjoy and comment upon it (feedback is always appreciated negative or otherwise )
If you find the backstory too morbid, feel free to scrap it and simply make your own story out of this old plantation style home. I wasn't sure if it was excessive but I had come up with it while creating it originally for myself but I felt I should see if others would like it as well.
Next, my friend who has no store content did playtest this for me and found It had a bit of missing objects/doors, but he said he found no problem replacing them with similar looking objects from the base game.
If there is significant demand I will re-release it sans the Store Content, I honestly apologize for the inconvenience but as I said, originally I hadn't thought of sharing it until my friend said he liked it.
As for Playability, I've used this house for a long while and found it to be something I strive for when seeking a sim house. Simplicity (No sixty floors and five thousand rooms), elegance, and some interesting kick to it (In this case the morbid backstory :P))
In any case, please enjoy.

About Me
When I make things I try to make all of my creations have some extra meaning, some life, some history.
Its ridiculous to get a beautiful, old grecian villa, and assume no other sim has stepped foot on it. I think one of the best part of the sims 3 is creating a history behind your sims, IE their family tree. Why shouldn't we extend this sort of rich background to the places they inhabit for a richer experience.
