-Backstory-
The Cartwright Residence isn't the scene of a grisly murder, nor is it the scene of a lover's quarrel. Something did however die within this home.
Oscar Cartwright moved to Sunset Valley with his wife, Therese Cartwright. They didn't bring many valuables, but what they did have was a common dream. Their dream was to build a house.
Not a mansion, but a nice roomy house for them to settle down into. With Therese's interior design skills and Oscar penchant for Architecture, they build the Cartwright together.
For years the couple lived happily and shared a new dream. They had a dream that one day, the Cartwright would be filled with Cartwrights, for generations to come. As Jack grew older, the couple found soon that he too was a dreamer.
The birth of Jack's big dream was the demise of the couple's dream. jack had a loftier dream, to move to Sim City and start up a business. Oscar and Therese held onto the hope that maybe Jack would move back in with them one day, or maybe when they passed, he would inherit and reside in the house.
When the couple passed away, Jack did indeed inherit their house but instead intends on furthering his dream with the proceeds of the sale of this house.
What died in this house was more than two old people, but a dream their shared to see it inhabited by a family. Or did it?
-House/Creation Info-
This is my first house that I have based on a floor plan, but I'd like this to be a major disclaimer stating that I did rework the floor plan to be more functional IE Enlarged some halls so sims don't get immensely confused when walking around or eliminating the awkwardly placed garaged in exchange for a much needed study. I did try to remain as faithful to the original plans as much as possible but when needed I tweaked it for functionality and playability.
Secondly, I am very happy to say that there is No Store Content used in the making of this.
I thank everyone for the feedback on my last lot, as it really did help on this one and I hope to get further feedback on this one.
Lot Size: 3x3

Install Instructions
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
Its ridiculous to get a beautiful, old grecian villa, and assume no other sim has stepped foot on it. I think one of the best part of the sims 3 is creating a history behind your sims, IE their family tree. Why shouldn't we extend this sort of rich background to the places they inhabit for a richer experience.
