Overview
If you have one sim, they simply get a quick meal/snack from the fridge until they acquire cooking skill, then they will make a meal for themselves. However, if you have 2 or more Sims, they will make a group meal. I just got tired and annoyed of Sims constantly making meals every time they wanted something to eat and having multiple meals sitting on counters and/or in the fridge.

Things You Should Know
  • This mod doesn't actually deal with hunger, it simply "advertises" to Sims to choose leftovers (if there are any) before cooking a meal
  • Food isn't considered "leftovers" until it is placed in the fridge. So if one sim serves a meal and the food is on the counter, it doesn't count as leftover and another sim may still cook their own meal.
  • Using the Put Away Leftovers works fairly well, but may cause issues if you want a serving container to remain out for some time, simply download the "Eat Your Leftovers" only
  • If you like your fridge to be stockpiled with group meals, simply download the "Put Away Leftovers" only.

Changes & Versions
By default, eating leftovers was advertised at 125 for hunger. I increased this to 500 since cooking a meal advertises at 200 for hunger, the idea being to get them to choose leftovers first. For putting away leftovers, I simply added advertising for Fun and Social to get them to put leftovers in the fridge

There are 3 versions
  • Put Away Leftovers - Advertises to Sims to put leftovers in the fridge
  • Eat Your Leftovers - Advertises to Sims to eat leftovers from the fridge
  • Eat and Put Away Leftovers - both files above in one package

Conflicts and Patch info
This mod edits the Fridge_EatLeftovers_Fridge and PutAwayLeftovers_ServingContainer from GamePlayData.package and will conflict with any other mod which does the same. The mod was originally created with patch 1.8.25, but has been updated and currently working with patches 1.63 - 1.67. It should still work for older patches but that is not verified.
