The Cole Residence

DESCRIPTION:
Pictures say more than thousand words, so after you looked into the pictures you will get a good impression of what this lot offers you and how it looks like. This Residence is part of one of my sims uploads, i built it extra for these sims and it's part of the story for them. The goal for the residence was to create homely home, which offers room for a full 8 head family. The interior is held in wooden colors and i placed some cardboard boxes around the house, so it creates the impression, that people just moved in here. It has a slight asian touch, especially the roof and wooden colors achieve this. I designed the roof, so that it looks like you can climb up there and walk around on it (unfortunately you can't in the Sims), but i wanted to create this illusion.
I must say i used every part of the lot and nothing is left blank, without cluttering it too much.

Goal for the garden was, to make it as natural as possible, bushes and plants are placed in a random way to achieve this. Additionally i created some very nice extras for the garden which you can see in the pictures, it is self-explanatory.


STORY:
Edmond Cole the founder of Cole Inc., a mighty corporation, owned this house and bequeated it to his grandchild Elena Cole, who was set for a corporate marriage, but ran away and searched shelter there. This was his last effort, before his demise, to provide a safe future for Elena.



EXTRAS:
Basically in all my lots i've uploaded so far, i built in little minigames, where you can find special items like books, baseballs, etc. When you explore this lot and take a closer look at some areas you will find some gems and Elena's daybook, there are about 10 gems scattered around the lot for you to find, some are more visible and some are hidden very very good. I do this to encourage the exploring of my lots, if you don't care about this, you won't see them anyways, they are placed in a way that you only find them, if you look good enough
I also placed all the skill books around the house, so you don't have to buy them from the bookstore.
