Several mod flavors are available to modify how you want the events to happen for your time traveling Sim when you send him or her into the past or future with the time machine.

By EA default, the time machine randomly adds a new child to your current Sim's family, changes your time traveling Sim's career, moves a new family into the neighborhood, reverts your time traveling ghost back into a normal Sim or reverts your time traveling mummy into a normal Sim. The time traveling Sim also bring random objects, books or money back from his or her trip in the time machine.

IN A NUTSHELL:

When a time traveling ghost goes into the past, the ghost will have a random chance to revert back into a normal Sim as if the Sim went back in time to "fix his or her death". It is the same with the time traveling mummy going back into the past.

(This is NOT good if you have a ghost or mummy time traveler you want to keep in your family.)

When the time traveling Sim returns home from either the past or the future, the Sim will have a random chance having a new child added to the family household.

(This is NOT good if you have a very small house or a very limited source of funds for your family. This is also NOT good if you don't plan to have children in your family.)

When the time traveling Sim returns home from the past, the Sim will have a random chance having a new family added to the neighborhood.

(I am sure there are folks out there (and not just from MATY) who don't want new families being added to their custom neighborhoods if they only play their own custom Sims/families.)

The mods below allow ghosts and mummies to be reverted back into normal Sims, allow surprise children to be added to the time traveling Sim's family, allow surprise families to be added to the time traveling Sim's town and allow the time traveling Sim's career to be changed.

No Random Clothes - Do NOT allow for random clothes
No Random Object - Do NOT allow for random objects
No Random Book - Do NOT allow for random books
No Random Money - Do NOT allow for random money
No Random Stuffs - Do NOT allow for all of the above

No Lose Ghost - The ghost is NOT reverted back into a normal Sim
No Lose Mummy - The mummy is NOT reverted back into a normal Sim
No Career Change - The Sim's career is NOT changed
No Surprise Child - NO surprise child is added to the household
No Surprise Family - NO surprise family is added to the neighborhood (town)
No Surprises - ALL of the above

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

Place the mod inside the Mods\Packages folder.

For XP (all versions):

C:\Documents and Settings\****\My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages

For Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) / Mac:

Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\

SPECIAL NOTE:

XP Pro, Vista and 7 users need to make sure they have access rights as admins/users in order to install or modify the files or folders for Sims 3.


CAVEAT EMPTOR:

I will only provide support for MY mods and help with questions regarding MY mods. I will not provide support for other people's mods, but if you need to know if my mod(s) will conflict with another person's mod(s), I will take a look at the mods in question and determine if they conflict or not.

I will not provide support for improperly installed mods. If you have game issues (game crashes, game corruption, etc), please visit the Sims 3 tech forums here or elsewhere and get help for your game-related problems.

ANOTHER NOTE:

In the near future, I will add more variety for bigger cash payouts, more random chances (maybe), infinite time traveling (There is a limit to how many times a Sim can go back into the past or future) and so forth. Keep an eye out for more time travel mod flavors!
