The Night Stalker Career is here! Fed up with fairies? ZOMG perturbed by zombies? Vexed by vampires? Time to be proactive and train your Sims for anti-Supernatural combat!
You need Twallan's Careers Mod for the Night Stalker Career to function: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Careers.
Instructions: Make sure you download a version of NRaas Careers that matches your current game patch level or the career won't work (and might possibly crash your game as an added special bonus ). Just place both files (NRaas_Career.package and Kithri_NightStalker_Career_9_12.package) into your Mods > Packages folder, as you do for all cc housed here at MTS. Again, if you do not download and install Twallan's Careers Mod, the Night Stalker Career will not work.
Patch Compatibility is 1.38/1.39.
No expansion or stuff packs are needed. Play testing was done on a base game fully patched to 1.38 and 1.39, and also on a game with all expansions patched to 1.36 and 1.38. This might work on other levels, but there are no guarantees.
All languages will show English text at this time. See below for translation information.
Details, Detail, Details, and Other Juicy Stuff
The Night Stalker Career has 10 levels with assigned vehicles and career outfits.
In addition to the Level 2-4 career uniform, the following picture shows the custom icons for this career:
Night Stalker includes four custom tones or modes that can be chosen from the menu while your Sim is at work to increase required skills. Join the career at the Criminal career rabbithole.
Most of the work hours are in the evening, since this is a NIGHT Stalker Career, after all.
At this time the career doesn't have any custom opportunities or events.
A Note About Retirement: I was unable to trigger retirement by phone or rabbithole despite many weeks and attempts at rewriting the code. So, for now, use Twallan's Master Controller to trigger retirement: From your Sim pie menu, choose NRaas > Master Controller > Intermediate > Career > Retire. The Sim Panel at the bottom of the UI will show your Sim as being retired and will show the pension (but incorrectly report it as being per hour instead of per day). Retirement will then function normally. This is the only way I have been able to successfully engage the retirement script embedded in the code.
Hint: A good Lifetime Wish for this career is the Perfect Mind/Perfect Body, since Night Stalkers need high athletic and logic skills.
Translation Information: Anyone who wishes is welcome to assist in translating the English strings into their native language (how translation is usually done). All you have to do is download the file Kithri_NightStalker_EnglishStrings_FOR_TRANSLATORS_ONLY.rar and translate the text, and I will compile it and re-upload. PM me for contact information.
Featured CC: The screenshots were taken in Jericho for Showtime by Simsample, available here @ MTS. The hair is by Elexis, available here, as is the lipstick (Cherry Pop). Everyday outfit is from the Diesel Stuff Pack.
Tools Used: S3PE, S3 STBL Duplicator, S3PIWrapper, Photoshop CS6, BootStrapCreator, STBL.exe
I love thanks and comments, so please stop in and say something! Also, please report any brokenness or weirdness here in this thread. Keep it related to the Night Stalker Career though.

Thanks to Twallan (Nraas Careers Mod, BootStrapCreator, and STBL.exe), Delphy, Digitalchaos (S3 STBL Duplicator, S3PIWrapper), Inge and Peter Jones, Creon for his tutorial, ThomasRiordan for his posts, and missyhissy for the hint on how to make my custom career work.

Career Levels, Titles, Pay, Hours, and Descriptions (In Depth)
1. Mailbox Marauder ~ Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat / $19 per hour/ 7 am-3 pm
Well, it isn't vampire slaying (yet!), but someone has to rid Sim Nation of those creepy Imaginary Friends. As a Mailbox Marauder, you spend your days snooping through mailboxes, trying to intercept innocent looking but deeply disturbing packages from dear old Aunt Cruella or Uncle Screwtape. You will need good strong legs and a sturdy pair of steel-toed boots as you walk around each neighborhood breaking all manner of postal laws. Good thing the police are too busy trying to bust those pranking teens to pay you any heed!
2. Crystal Ball Bouncer ~ Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun / $26 per hour/ 3 pm-10 pm
Now that you've built up your athletic and logic skills a bit, you are ready to take on the role of Crystal Ball Bouncer! Using your superior analytic abilities, you confront Fortune Tellers and shred their assertions of supernatural prowess with cold hard logic. If logic fails, you can always put on your steel-toed boots and use a roundhouse kick direct to the crystal balls. Either way, you win!
3. Unicorn Defiler ~ Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri / $35 per hour/ 3 pm-10 pm
In order to be a really effective Unicorn Defiler, you must be a virgin. Just kidding! Woohoo 'til you're blue, if you desire, since the actual tools you'll need to do your job well are a silver tongue, two strong arms, and a metal file. Woo the unicorn with your charismatic charm, grab hold of that horn, and in 247 flicks of a horse's tail, the ex-unicorn will be just another white horse with a strangely nubby forehead.
4. Bottle Stopper ~ Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun / $42 per hour/ 3 pm-10 pm
Using logic, wit, and charm, the Bottle Stopper outsmarts Genies by tricking them back into their bottles, and then corking them in. (But not without extorting a few wishes, first!)
5. Fairy Flattener ~ Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun / $49 per hour/ 3 pm-10 pm
Finally, something worthy of your time and effort! You cackle with glee as you begin your tour of duty as a Fairy Flattener. Your weapons as you battle the sparkly menace will be those by-now legendary (and sticky) steel-toed boots, a roll of paper towels, and a bottle of spray cleaner. Fairy stains are a pain to remove, especially from white carpet!
6. Lunar Eclipser ~ Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun / $75 per hour/ 3 pm-9 pm
Ah, the sweet, sad sound of D minor by moonlight. Now that you've learned to play guitar, you're ready to confront the Werewolf. Music soothes the savage beast, and as half-man, half-beast, the Werewolf is half-susceptible to the tranquilizing effects of House of the Rising Sun. Strum the Werewolf into a submissive stupor with Stairway to Heaven, and then stun it with your now-perfected roundhouse kick!
7. Parental Controller ~ Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun / $99 per hour/ 3 pm-9 pm
The Parental Controller neutralizes Mummies, but not the kind beloved of Daddies. You will focus on the OTHER kind of Mummies. (Who says Night Stalkers can't have a sense of humor?) But how can you, a mere mortal, vanquish a Mummy, the epitome of ancient evil? Quite simple, really. All you need to do is find the Mummy's loose end, and pull, pull, with all your might. The Mummy will unravel into a pile of loose dust and bandages. While you are looking for the all-important loose end, your superior athletic skills will help you avoid the Mummy's Curse! Or something like that. You'll figure it out....
8. Brains! ~ Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri / $133 per hour/ 3 pm-9 pm
(Male) The Brains! must outthink and outrun his nemesis, the Zombie. Armed with a pea shooter and a pair of roller blades, your main strategy will be to draw the zombie away from the crowd by annoying it with that silly pea shooter and then taunting it with cries of "Hey, Mr. Poopy Pants!" until it shambles after you. Then, a roundhouse kick to the head and voila, a headless zombie. Lather, rinse, repeat!
(Female) The Brains! must outthink and outrun her nemesis, the Zombie. Then, a roundhouse kick to the head and voila, a headless zombie. Lather, rinse, repeat!
9. Vampire Slayer ~ Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri / $199 per hour/ 10 am - 3 pm
Welcome to the inner circle of Night Stalking! While you have not yet reached the top of the pile, you have rounded the hump of monetary mediocrity, and now make a decent living. As a Vampire Slayer, you spend the majority of your time in search of the vampire's lair, since it is easiest to strike while an undead is asleep. How do you find the vampire's lair? Why, just follow the trail of sparklies and pink floaty hearts, of course!
10. The Night Stalker ~ Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu / $275 per hour/ 11 am - 3 pm
Congratulations, you have made it to the ultimate topmost acme of the anti-Supernatural career: You are now a bona-fide Night Stalker. You control the whole operation from a cozy office deep within the Hideout. You can pick and choose which jobs to perform yourself, and which you will delegate to one of your many minions--err, agents!--scattered throughout Sim Nation. And, your job title is preceded by a definite article. Life is good!

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
