This lot has been over nine months in the making. Its CC heavy, but by far my favourite lot of all the lots I've ever made. It Sparked off the creation of the White Stone City set and has given me many many hours of great game play.

So without further ado... I present to you...

The Citadel of Camelot, the heart and soul of the Legendary White Stone City. Home to Pendragons, Warlocks, Witches and Knights.

In the BBC TV Series Merlin, Pierrefonds Castle in France was used to represent Camelot, and its this version of the Mythical city that I've used to create this lot.

I've also used scenes and sets from episodes to influence the designs of certain rooms within the castle (bedrooms, apartments, dining room, throne room).

::Layout::
Set over four levels above ground, with access to the basement (although no basement beyond the bottom of the stairs has been included. Its there if you want it. I didn't.

A Note about bedrooms. To keep with the medieval time frame there are no "bathrooms". There are however bathing facilities in each bedroom as well as a communal shower block for the knights.

Ground Floor (foundation and outside):
Kitchen Garden
Paddock
Stables
Knights' Training area.
Main Courtyard
Access to Basement levels.

First Floor:
Throne Room
Dining Room
Kitchen
Armory
Knights' communal showers.
Knight's relaxation room.
Maid/Butler's Quarters.
Main Entrance
Servants Entrance
Gate House

Second Floor
Library (and hidden Magical Library)
Large Bedroom Suite (Arthur's Room)
Three Knight's bedrooms.
Throne Room Gallery
Empty Store Rooms

Third Floor
Master Bedroom Suite with attached study (Uther's Room)
Bedroom Suite (Morganna's Room)
Two Knight's Rooms

Fourth Floor
Two Servants' Bedrooms
Physician's/Wizard's Loft (Gaius' Rooms) with attached Servant's Room (Merlin's Room)

There is access to a tiny fifth floor in the roof above Gaius' room if you chose to use it (I didn't).

::Note About Custom Content::

I appreciate this this lot is heavy on the CC. Frankly, there wasn't much choice when it came to creating an authentic looking/feeling medieval lot. I've broken the CC into Required (for structural and external aesthetic reasons) and Recommended (for interior design, furnishing etc). The ARE items listed from the Sims 3 Store, which I know some people don't like, but again, there wasn't much choice. If you want to play medieval lots, some of these things are just must haves.

This lot uses the Archer's Gauntlet from The Dukes of Bow Renaissance Faire This is an expensive and large lot to download, and really if you can live without archery, don't bother with it.By the same token two items, Chamber Door & Wharf Fence are not available to download as individual items but come instead as part of Sims-Store worlds. They are not crucial to the look or structure of the lot, and if you do not already have these worlds from the store, and chose not to download them its not exactly the end of the world.
If you do decide to download them...

Wharf Fence comes with Barnacle Bay which can be found Here.
Chamber door comes with Hidden springs which can be found Here.

To everyone and anyone who helped me get the file for this ridiculously large and complicated lot down to a reasonable size to post here. To the makers of SimPe, because without it I never would have known what the hell was wrong with it. And to Sass... who put up with me during this nine month epic battle.
