Simnation Federal Reserve

Have you ever had an urge to wage macroeconomic havoc in your sim world just like real central banks do in real life? Well now you can with the Simination Federal Reserve Building. This institution comes loaded with various monetary tools to combat high unemployment and stimulate growth. Whether you choose to conduct tens of billions of Simoleon dollars worth of mortgage backed securities purchases in the open market operations room or just leave it to the 42 Simoleons printing presses located in the three story basement below, the nation’s money supply (and for that matter a quarter of the world's) is in your hands. Just be careful not to lower those interest rates too low. We wouldn't want artificially cheap credit to encourage anyone to make any major malinvestment. (cough cough)

I modeled the building after the real United States Federal Reserve building (called the Eccles Building) in Washington D.C. Its most notable features; the three story basement simoleon counterfeiting operation, the Open Market Operations room, the chairman's office, and the main lobby. The lot does have a practical use as a business lot. At one time I had a sim operate it and make money from hiring employees to run the printing presses in the basement. I would just pause the game when the employees showed up for work, made them selectable by using the InSIMenator hack and then order them to operate the counterfeiting machines, then lastly I would unselect them and unpause the game. Through another Hack I was able to hire up to 42 employees at one time to use all the machines! I think I remember making make around $45,000 for an 8hr work day. BEFORE YOU INSTALL THIS BUILDING: If you don't already have Numenor's Custom Walls Repository & Index installed in your game, you will need download and install that. There are download links to in the installation instructions. Also, the main window I used on the building is impossible to include into the lot package file, so download that with the link in the instructions. Make sure you read the install instructions tab!!!
