Building a vacation hood, I thought it might be a good idea to build a writer's retreat. Your Sim can go on holiday and write his novel without being interrupted by his friends and family all the time. It works fine as a normal residential lot as well.
On the one side, the edge is not completely flat, but I could place it everywhere without any problems. Just a few tiles next to the pond, shown in the screenshots.
The house is on the small side, with one bathroom and one bedroom. There is a desk with a computer waiting for the writer! It is fully furnished, but there is a empty outhouse at the back (where I placed a hot tub during testing). The retreat is in the mountains and surrounded by trees, so that the writer can be alone when he wishes to - but he or she can fish in the pond as well. The roof has a higher pitch, since the foundation is really high, and the house reminds me of a guest house on a farm named Medike in the Soutpansberg (Salt Pan Mountains) area, Limpopo, South Africa, with the stone walls and large windows.
I play tested a copy of this house with a test subject Sim called Barry Burns in a hood I named TestTown. Not only did everything work, when I left Barry he had already written a great novel (and bragged about it all the time); had enjoyed two dream dates, acquired a bronze fishing badge and was in the zone when it came to film and literature. So I guess the play testing went well! I hope those of you who use this lot will enjoy it too.
I have only used two items of custom content - lights by Huge Lunatic. In my screenshots you also see the awesome roof trims by Honeywell, which you can find here:

I have the Ultimate Collection so you will need all the expansion and stuff packs.
There are a lot of trees on the lot, so it might slow the game down on slower computers.
