Here is the new item for the brass bedroom furniture series: a dresser with mirror!
It offers all the functionalities of both objects.
This was a really challenging object! It involved a lot of behaviour editing. Also, to put together a dresser and a mirror I had to heavily edit the object’s resource node. And I must confess that I don’t know exactly what I did to make it work. I mean, I know what I did, I just don’t know the full meaning of what I did (I invented a lot).
So, are you willing to test this for me? I tested it minimally in my game and it appears to be working fine but I bet there will be a lot of issues that will need to be solved.
I made this object after installing the EP but I think the EP is not required for the dresser to work properly. Please tell me if that’s not the case.
The dresser was made with SimPE 0.35 and it uses new GUIDs, so it should not cause any conflict with other objects in your game. It is recolourable.
Please report here any problem you find.
Thanks!
16 Apr 05 - Corrected some of the dresser's bhavs.
17 Apr 05 - I don’t know how I could have missed it, but I left some debugging code in the package! Sorry, just removed it.
27 Apr 05 - Finally, I solved my problem with MilkShape registration! With it I was able to make a version of the dresser that uses much less polygons. New version size:
Vertices: 5594
Polygons: 5790
For your reference, the poly count for the Maxis “Chesterstick Cherry Dresser” is:
Vertices: 2567
Polygons: 2498
and the poly count for the “Vision Mirrors Past Reflections” is:
Vertices: 328
Polygons: 330
I also made some corrections to the dresser’s interactions code.

This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below for more information.
