Here I present my "failed" attempt at a hippie/artist home for the previously mentioned Rhodes family. This was attempt one, but as it came out looking a bit more hippie than recycled, eco-artist AND went over my self-imposed budget of 25k, I decided to just start over again and save this one for later. Well, it's later!

This brightly colored home definitely leans towards the hippie Sim, with colorful exterior and interior paints, carpets and tiles, but still speaks to the artist with a dedicated art corner that has a pottery wheel, easel and sewing machine to use. If that all still sounds like work, never fear! There is a bubble blower AND snapdragon plant in the living room for those down times when you need a pick-me-up. Outside, you will find plenty for the nature lover with an orange tree (there is a juicer inside, stay healthy!), multiple garden plots, hydroponic garden, weather machine, koi pond and cow plant (PLEASE keep it fed!).




As this was originally made for the Rhodes family, certain things have carried over - the flamingo requirement, the spare bedroom, the orchard tree/garden plots previously mentioned and the fact that they collect trinkets from garage sales. There is a shelf in the guest bedroom with little doodads from their rummaging.

  • 1 full bath.
  • Fire alarm, burglar alarm, and phone.
  • Craft room inside with pottery wheel, sewing, and easel.
  • Nature lovers yard with orchard tree, garden plots, hydroponic garden, weather machine, koi pond and cow plant.
  • Snapdragon plant, bubble blower machine and juicer.

No CC was used, but all EPs/SPs are installed.
