Grand Estate 2.0 NO CC

Hi everyone! Let me preface this by saying this is my first upload, so if I have made any mistakes, that's why.

Let's get down to it: this is a remake of the Grand Estate. I can't remember which expansion pack it came with, but I want to say Bon Voyage [edit: it came with Apartment Life!]. I opened the house and thought... Woah, Maxis, what is this? So I remade it. Hopefully you all like it.


Before and After

This house was just a mess. The roof was too big; the windows were completely unaligned; the front was all boring and flat, and the whole thing looked top heavy. In my remake, I kept some of the original green shuttered windows and the grey stone. I tried to make the aesthetic like how I think a house called "the grand estate" would look.

The Grand Estate was listed as having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The Grand Estate 2.0 has 3 bedrooms, an office that could be converted into a bedroom, and 2.5 bathrooms.


Before

The rooms before had no discernable style, and I thought the colors clashed horribly. Now, it looks more like somewhere I would want my Sims to live.


After

I hope your Sims enjoy this newly renovated estate. Please inform me of any mistakes.

Notes: The rug in the living room may catch fire because it is so close to the fireplace, but a fire alarm and a sprinkler system have been installed for your Sims' safety. There is also a phone and burglar alarm included in the lot.
