After the update and subsequent rebranding that seemed to ruffle everyone's feathers, I decided to give TS4 another shot.

Being it was my first build, I thought it'd be nice to bring Americana to TS4.

Placing This Lot

All my TS4 lots are created with bb.moveobjects and bb.showhiddenobjects turned on. To ensure all objects show up as intended, I would recommend loading the lot from Build Mode with these cheats already enabled.

Decor

Not a lot of decor from previous installments have made the move to TS4. Where I couldn't find the same objects/decor pieces, I looked for the closest alternative that a CC free game would allow. I opted for a bit of artistic licence with the twin room because the TS3 version is a bit hideous to begin with and it was an ugliness that was virtually impossible to replicate!
